To protect her family from the dangers she never knew existed, Lori chooses the trials—but only the use of her new-found magic, something she barely understands, will save her from their deadly challenges.
It soon becomes clear that there’s far more to Alius Academy than beating the trials. Lori must learn to navigate a world full of speciesism, murderous mythical creatures, and boys who might want to eliminate her, enthral her, or kiss her. She needs allies to survive, and there seems to be more secrets at every turn. If she can’t discover who unbound her magic and who seems hellbent on hunting her down, she might not survive this…

Exclusive Fantasy Story
Of Blood and Wax
This an introduction to this world. There will be lots to follow!
The Free Mages began as a group of young, idealistic mages who were frustrated with the restrictions placed on their magical abilities. They believed that all forms of magic should be acceptable to use, as long as they were properly regulated and used for the greater good.
A charismatic and talented blood mage named Seraphina, who believed that the ban on the dark arts was unjust and outdated found the group. She gathered a small group of like-minded mages, including a talented pyromancer named Asher, a gifted healer named Liara, and a powerful necromancer named Kael.
At first, the Free Mages operated in secret, experimenting with dark magic and pushing the boundaries of what was considered acceptable. They were careful to avoid detection, but as they grew in power and influence, they attracted the attention of the authorities.
One day, the Free Mages were discovered by the Mage Council, who saw them as a dangerous threat to the stability of the magical community. The Council demanded that the Free Mages disband and surrender themselves for punishment, but Seraphina and her allies refused to back down.
Determined to prove that their magic could be used for good, the Free Mages began using their abilities to help the common people, healing the sick and protecting the weak from harm. They gained a loyal following among the downtrodden, who saw them as champions of the oppressed.
Despite their good intentions, the Free Mages continued to clash with the Mage Council, who saw them as rebels and outcasts. The group continued to fight for their cause, hoping to one day establish a society where all forms of magic were accepted and celebrated.
As the Free Mages grew in power and influence, their reputation spread throughout the magical world, attracting new members who shared their vision for a better future. With their determination and magical prowess, they continued to fight for their cause, knowing that the road ahead would be long and difficult.

Music Fueled by Fantasy
Muse has been on the scene for awhile now and they have always brought a unique approach to their sound. They have always had a bit of a rock feel, but lately they have really been leaning into the heavier sound and it is INCREDIBLE! They still stay true to their sound while infusing it with a healthy dose of heavy!
