Hey there, !
I'm just sitting here pondering life, as I do. Then a thought hit me. "What are some habits I have that lead me away from enjoying my life?"
If you got my last email, you know I've been on a joy kick lately and it's been an awesome ride let me tell you! However, sometimes we get caught up in the grind of daily life and forget to make time for our own joy. Personally, I'm a father and a leader at a local restaurant along with everything else I do so, I tend to dig myself into my responsibilities and forget about my Response-ability.
I decide what I respond to and what I focus on and like I said, Lately I've decided to choose joy!
What are some ways you lead yourself away from your joy?
Here's some quality entertainment to shift you back into joy!
Fantasy

This one is close to my heart because this entire book fair was built by my beautiful, loving girlfriend, Mandy Melanson. The image is her debut novel, which I highly suggest you check out! the rest of the series is out as well! However there is a whole host of free books along with this link!
This one is a special discounted book fair. All the reads in this one are $2.99 and below, but it is filled with quality stories that are well worth it!
Heavy Metal
If you know me by now, you know that I love Trivium. They are one of my all time favorite bands and Matt Heafy, their frontman, is my hero! They just released a new album this week and I'm going to share an amazing song with you. They wrote this song for their album - "Shogun," but couldn't figure out the middle section. So they dug it out, finished and polished it for this record. I know you will love it!
Trivium - The Phalanx
Also, since it's Halloween month, Ice Nine Kills is releasing their new album - "The Silver Scream ll." The Album is the Follow up to "the Silver Scream" where all of the songs are based on horror movies. Here is a brutal new single from them that's based off of Pet Cemetary
Ice Nine Kills - Funeral Derangements
All of these things bring me so much joy! And, I hope that they bring a little joy to your day as well. Remember you Response-Ability. Choose joy, my friend.
