I have been on this joy kick lately where I refuse to focus on negatives and CHOOSE to focus on joy and enjoying my daily life, despite any struggles I may be facing. It's been awesome and you know what really helps me with that? Allowing myself to really enjoy the things that LIGHT ME UP.
Those things are: Family, Fantasy, Heavy Metal, Video Games and Food!

Heavy Metal
At a live show, I once heard David Draiman (Disturbed) say "There is no music other than heavy metal that will make you feel so fucking powerful" and that has stuck with me ever since! I absolutely agree with him, so here are some great choices for some songs that make me feel pumped up and ready to take on the world.

Gaming
Baldur's Gate 3 - Damn am I excited for this one!! If you don't know, Baldur's gate is set in the Forgotten Realms, a world created for the Dungeons and Dragons universe and anything D&D related is worth checking out in my book. It's available to play now in early access, which basically means you can play the game, but it's not considered complete yet. There may be big changes to gameplay or mechanics for the completed version, but Larian, the studio developing it, have a track record of releasing an early release and actually listening to player feedback to fix the game! If you are a fan of RPG, D&D or just fantasy in general, Check out the newest installment of the Baldur's Gate series.
