Welcome back, !
This week is FULL of books for you to enjoy and I can't wait to introduce them to you! But first, I have a couple questions.
- If you could do ONE thing before the summer is over, what would it be?
- I'm thinking of adding some Witchy / Spiritual content to the mix, how would you feel about that? (It would be things like Tarot Cards, healing crystals and stuff like that. Does that interest you?)
Alright, that's enough about that. Let's get to the FANTASY!

Saving Schrodinger's Cat
In the 25th century, deep under the Earth's shattered surface, the dying remnants of humankind live in a dwindling Colony devoid of Nature and only one can travel to the past to save humanity from its dark fate.
Clinging to life underground, after a cataclysmic all-out nuclear war, the remains of the human race are desperate for a way to change the past. Harnessing the power of an artificial wormhole, their only hope to avert global annihilation is to travel back in time and alter the discovery of nuclear fission.
Humanity's future rests on the unlikely shoulders of Proteus. Born with a unique genetic mutation, scientists discover that he is the only one capable of surviving the ravages of time-travel. After decades of preparation, Proteus is sent backwards to early 20th century London... but Time doesn't want the past to change and it pushes back.
To complete his mission, Proteus must manipulate the course of history, all the while battling enemy agents and avoiding the forces of Time, if he's ever going to save the future from the past.
Devil in Exile
*** Warning *** This is not the usual content in this Newsletter. It's for mature audiences, skip it if you don't want to read that.
When oceanographer, Ada Charles, is sent to study strange seismic activity off the coast of Northern California, she expects the expedition to be routine. Getting transported to an entirely different planet is not a scenario she thought even remotely possible. Neither is being attacked by lethal aliens and separated from her crew.
When an alien abducts her and claims her as his mate, Ada's not about to submit to this alpha male. No way in hell is she going to become an alien warrior wife to someone capable of breaking her heart just as thoroughly as her ex-boyfriend did. Her plans involve saving her crew and returning to Earth before the warring Chassaks capture and sell her to the highest bidder.
Unfortunately, she has absolutely no idea how to do that. Now she must convince Kyllell to join her rescue mission while resisting that sexy devil of an alien’s pull, but he’s not interested in helping her find her crew or her way home.
Steam alert: contains a hot alien alpha male who dominates in the bedroom and a curvy, strong-willed human female who refuses to submit. Strong sexual themes/language is present. Perfect for fans of Ruby Dixon, Cara Bristol, and Evangeline Anderson. This is recommended for 18+ audiences. Full-length 90,000-word Sci-Fi Romance novel.

Heavy Metal
If you love Fantasy and like Metal, there's a REALLY good chance that you will LOVE Symphonic Metal. Exactly as the title describes, it's Heavy Metal with grand productions and just EPIC sounding music. It's like every song is getting you ready for a different scene in the Lord of the Rings movies. Today, I want to share with you some of my favorite Symphonic Metal bands. Here we go!
Nightwish is a Finnish Symphonic Metal band that's been around since 1996. They are one of the biggest players in the genre and command stages around the world. I got the pleasure of seeing them live in Cleveland several years ago and they put on an AMAZING live show. I hope you enjoy!
Nightwish - Amaranth
Nightwish - Nemo
Epica is a Dutch Symphonic Metal band who have also been on the scene for decades! They are also one of the biggest bands in the Symphonic genre! I also got the opportunity to see them in the same venue in Cleveland that I say Nightwish, so it was pretty special for me! Check them out!
Epica - Victims of Contingency
Epica - Edge of the Blade
Unleash the Archers is a Canadian Power Metal band. So, they aren't exactly Symphonic Metal, but Power Metal always makes you feel battle ready and they really lean into the Fantasy theme. They are an underrated band in my opinion so, let me know what you think!
Unleash the Archers - General of the Dark Army
Unleash the Archers - Awakening
