, do you believe in magic?
The magic of the season, the magic of heavy metal and just the plain old magic of a scorching fireball waiting to destroy a battalion of soldiers.
There are many types of magic in the world, it all just depends on where you find it. Since this is the season of Thanks, Family and seasonal magic, I want to know where do you find magic in this world?
...Is it in a book? Is it in the food you eat or the friends you meet? I'm dying to know what makes you fall in love with the magic of life!
I find magic everywhere including --- YOU GUESSED IT --- Fantasy and Heavy Metal!

Heavy Metal
Last week, I featured some Swedish Melodic Death Metal! Check out the archives or reach out to me if you want a recap on that! This week, I want to feature some American artists that are both brutal and beautiful in their sound First up is a Metalcore band from Portland, OR called Dying Wish. They are fronted by Emma Bolster. Emma brings a heavy scream to the mix with some more ethereal parts mixed in. Check out their latest single here!
*STANK FACE WARNING* - -The breakdown in this song will cause extreme cases of stank face
Dying Wish - Fragments of a Bitter Memory
Next up is a band from Reading Pennsylvania. Rivers of Nihil have been making big waves in the metal world lately. They bring a very unique sound that, has some really progressive influences. This song is heavy, technical and brings beautiful soundscapes in between. *I don't want to spoil anything, but there is a KILLER Saxaphone solo in here. Enjoy!
