Welcome back, !
If you've been following along, you know that I've been going through a lot of personal and life changes lately.Ultimately, it's been great for my personal growth, but it hasn't been easy and won't get easier any time soon.
With that said, I'm going to be making some more changes. I'm going to be leaning heavier into the personal development and non-fiction space. Consuming and practicing these types of books have helped me a lot in my growth and healing so, I truly want to help others do the same.
I will still keep this newsletter focused on Sci-Fi and Fantasy, don't you worry! But, if you are interested in health, wellness, and development, I would love to have you with me! You can join the Newsletter by clicking the link below! 👇

The Girl of Dorcha Wood
The people of Felmore talk of Dorcha Wood in whispers, if they speak of it at all. There is danger in the dark forest. Monstrous things, remnants of the Aos Sí, lurk in the shadows, hunting the unwary should one be careless enough to cross those borders.
But to seventeen-year-old Fiadh, Dorcha Wood is home. A haven. It speaks to her in the rustle of the wind through the leaves, in the wild things that come to her hand. It is a forest whose secrets become known only when it chooses to reveal them.
Hers is a simple life until the outside world shatters it.
Gideon, a warrior whose memory is as lost as his strength, finds his way to Fiadh's healing hands. With his arrival comes the wrath of Lord Darragh, the ruler of Felmore. A man whose violence rivals that of the nightmarish beings of Dorcha Wood.
Fiadh finds herself thrust into a world brimming with suspicion and cruelty, seething with hatred and vengeance.
Hunted.
Desperate.
She turns to Gideon. Setting herself on a new path where she will confront the reality of old hatred, the consequences of things hidden, and the truth of who she is.

No Ordinary Star
Free with Kindle Unlimited
A soldier is summoned to the North Pole, days before the year changes, told to fix the great Clock for a celebration. He has no idea what to do.
A girl, hunted for the crime of being born, almost dies out on the ice. She is rescued by the last polar bear left alive.
A library waits for them both, a library built over a span of a hundred years, forgotten in the basement of an ice shack.
The world hasn't known hunger or sickness in hundreds of years. It has also forgotten love and beauty.
The year is 2525.
Inspired by the short stories of Ray Bradbury, this futuristic novel is set in a world where Christmas -among other things- is obsolete and a Clock is what keeps the fragile balance of peace.
Written in three installments, this is the breathtaking and sensual story of how two unlikely people change the world, and each other, one book at a time.
To Save a Sister
Free with Kindle Unlimited
My sister was magic. They killed her. They say we are magic too.
Three sisters living together in their forties has its challenges. Life is humming along just fine if you overlook our clashing personalities, codependency issues and romances that fizzle out before they ignite.
When our oldest sister’s personality changes overnight, we plan a boozy lunch to chase away the midlife blues. We find her in our kitchen, battling a troop of men dressed like Indian royalty. Sitara summons a tempest from the washing-up bowl to protect herself. But it’s not enough to save her life.
There’s no time to work out if magic is real. Her killers whisk us away to a hidden kingdom ruled by a seductive raja. Here, we must prove we’re not witches. I may be from a sleepy English coastal town, but I can hold my own. I flirt with danger, hell-bent on uncovering the truth of my sister’s death.
Will I find out what lurks beneath the golden silks and exotic colours of our kidnapper’s home before I lose another sister to this perilous, new world?

Music Fueled by Fantasy
This song fits right in with the upbeat catchy songs I've been loving lately, but this one is 3 years old!! Time really does fly...
This one has all the elements I'm loving. It's a rocky song with driving rhythms, synthy highs and an incredibly cathcy chorus and that guitar part, just gets me so excited, I just love it. You will know exactly which part I'm talking about. 😂
I hope you enjoy -

This Week's Food Fantasy
This is one of my favorite dishes to make because it is absolutely delicious and it will feed the whole family!! You can also adjust your ingredients to make this meal either healthier or more decedent.
If you want this to be a healthier meal, soak the chicken in buttermilk instead of using heavy cream in the sauce. For the sauce use chicken stock instead of the cream and cut down the butter or replace it with vegan butter. You will also want to reduce the amount of shaved parm in the dish!
If you want it nice and fatty and sure to satisfy the harshest of critics (The kids) then leave allll that goodness in there.
I'm living a healthier life now so, I don't really make this much anymore, but let me tell you, I still dream about it.
