The Blood Queen
How does an innocent young girl become an all-powerful evil Blood Queen?
But with greed and decadence and a desire for power there came a vacuum, a rift in the universe which gave an opening for an extreme old evil to gain form and power once again. When evil is allowed to choose its form it doesn’t come in the form of a gory beast but in the most seductive form possible.
Ashlanna, lone daughter of Grayson, known now as Ash-Axana lived in the city of Tulluth two days' ride southeast of the large metropolis of Ebenaltair. Grayson was a craftsman of steel. He had a smith in Tulluth and was known among the city as the finest maker of swords. His wife Ashlanna’s mother Teritha was a very beautiful woman. Teritha had a green thumb and loved everything that would grow from the soil, so she kept a large garden. One day after Ashlanna’s 11th birthday her mother, Teritha was bitten by a small black snake in her garden. A week later Teritha died of the venom's poison. Teritha’s death was the turning point in Grayson and Ashlanna’s life
These are the following tragic accounts of Grayson and Ashlanna and how she became THE BLOOD QUEEN...
Vanity of Devils
Something evil is killing innocents. Odessa St. James will do anything to catch the killer, even if it means working for the Devil himself.
Enforcer Odessa St. James has been chasing a gruesome killer for almost a decade across the southern United States. When the latest killing points to Morningstar Industries, Odessa must go undercover, working for the Devil. Literally.
Can she maintain her cover and find the killer while fighting her attraction for the hot-as-Hell Prince of Lies or will he have his head of security, the Angel of Death himself, take her away in cuffs?
Maybe that wouldn’t be so bad…
Alice in Vampireland
Alice is a 130+ year-old vampire who, for most of her existence, served as a Nightwalker with the Order of the Morning Dawn.
The Order was a zealous "religious" organization dedicated to the elimination of vampires and witches.
To further their cause, they recruited an army of vampires called "Nightwalkers" to do their dirty work.
How did they convince these vampires to join them?
With the promise that the only way vampires could save their souls was to kill their own!
Alice has abandoned the Order and now seeks to take them down.
In an effort to do so, she must ally with the Vampire Council—headed by the same vampire she'd hunted since the day she was turned.
To prove herself to the Vampire Council, Alice must undergo a mission to recruit the old world vampires in Romania to their cause.
This sends Alice on an enthralling journey into a hidden underground world where mysteries abound, magic is real, and some of the most brutal vampires in history thrive.
Demon Reign
What can I do when a demon makes me question everything I believe?
Marked at birth, I have spent my life in service to the temple, where the Priestess captures and controls demons to keep others safe. Determined to prove myself, I am inexplicably drawn to Dagon, a demonic being so powerful he was worshiped as a God.
An attack on the temple leads to a revelation—a way to close the gates of hell and banish all demons from the mortal plane, but my journey with Dagon is leading me to more questions than answers and feelings I do not know how to control.
How am I to do what I have set out to do if it will mean losing him? How can I banish all demons when there is one holding onto my heart?

Hell's Princess
After walking through literal Hell as a teenager, college seems so stupid. I finished high school and got my diploma for Lena’s sake, but honestly, what am I going to do with a college degree? I'm a witch, born and raised, and that's not something the professors at Nowhere U are equipped to deal with.
I need a good teacher, someone who can show me the ins and outs of Hell magic. Now that I've tapped into it, I can’t imagine going back to my family’s carnal magic roots. Give me Hell, or give me death.
Imagine my surprise, then, when an old acquaintance shows up at my front door on my eighteenth birthday. Asmodeus, the demon Prince of Lust, seems keen on spending time with me, but if He thinks I'm like my sister, He's going to be disappointed. I want nothing to do with His brand of magic, but maybe I can take advantage of His offer to help.
After all, what better way to learn about Hell magic than straight from the demon’s mouth?
Rebel Magic
I hunt bad guys.I don't work for them.My talent for tracking has made me a damn good bounty hunter for the past decade, but it's also gotten me solidly under the thumb of Texas's most powerful casino boss, Kai Warcloud.
I need to break free before I kill him or he kills me. The solution? I have to help Kai track down the notorious con artist Laurent Moreau to New Orleans and drag him back to pay his debts. Just one last job... and I'm finally free.
The catch? Moreau looks like an angel but has the soul and fangs of a vampire with an entourage of bloodthirsty friends to match. Until I catch him, Kai is happy to use my brother as leverage.
But I have an edge: I'm a Cherokee Spirit Walker, able to commune with the dead. Since vamps are already halfway there, this should be a piece of cake, right?
WRONG.
It's one hell of a leap to go from bail bonds and bounties to dragging supernaturals back to Texas on the back of a chain, but I'm up for it. My back may be against the wall, but I'm the kind of girl who comes out swinging.
My name is Rebel Weston, and I'm going to hunt you down.
Temple Commander
With a new rank comes great responsibility
Newly promoted, Charlaine deShandria is sent to the very borders of the mighty Halvarian Empire. There, she finds a beleaguered kingdom, weakened by intrigue, facing possible annihilation.
Surprised to discover her new command filled with untested warriors and inexperienced captains, she struggles to prepare them for battle before the war erupts. Reinforcements finally arrive, but they are led by an old adversary whose very presence bodes ill for the order.
When Danica moves the Holy fleet westward, she brings them into direct conflict with the empire's ships. Finding no friendly ports in which to seek shelter, they are forced to brave the storm-ravaged seas of the north.
Can they stop the empire's tide of tyranny, or will another kingdom fall to the relentless army of Halvaria?
With the possibility of invasion looming over their every move, Charlaine and Danica prepare for the fight of their lives in Paul J Bennett's Temple Commander, Book Five of the Power Ascending series.
Goddess
—In the galaxies of uncharted territories and unexplored worlds, Roke Stenner had seen his fair share of strange beings and extraordinary phenomena. But nothing could have prepared him for Anadi, the seemingly perfect planet for human colonization that was anything but normal. And nothing could have prepared him for her.
Is She Human... A Female Alien...or?
Caught within the powers of a woman who may or may not be human, Roke finds himself struggling to resist her siren's call. With each passing day, he falls deeper under her spell, torn between his growing desire for her and his duty to protect humanity from the danger that lurks on Anadi.
Is He Her Prisoner...Or Her Breeding Stud?
—As Roke grapples with his own emotions and the impossible reality of the woman who has captured him, he must find a way to escape her grasp and warn the rest of the galaxy. But with her psionic abilities and their intense sexual connection, will he be able to break free, or will he be forever lost to her mysterious and seductive charms?
—In this thrilling sci-fi tale, the line between what is human and what is not is blurred, leaving Roke and the reader to wonder: was she human... a female alien... or something else entirely?
The Shield of Nike
A comic book nerd who's just discovered she has superpowers. Her popular jock best friend. Can she save him from the mythical creatures terrorizing their town?
Gods. Monsters. Magic. Greek mythology like you've never seen it before.
Valeria is in love with her best friend, Greg, and has been for years. But they can't be together, because after they graduate high school they'll be on opposite sides of the country. This seems to be Valeria's greatest dilemma—until a freak storm ambushes the two on a hike a few miles outside their town.
During the storm, Greg is injured, and a strange shield falls from the sky and knocks Valeria unconscious. When she wakes up, her whole world is turned upside down. Greg is missing, her town has been annihilated, deadly creatures roam, and the disembodied voice of a woman she knows nothing of talks to her from inside her own head.
The woman says Greg has been taken, but that Valeria can save him and survive the perils awaiting her if she harnesses the "gifts" she was given at birth, and if she uses the shield that fell from the sky. But how can Valeria trust a woman she's never met?
She'll have to rely on herself and face horrors she could never have imagined to save her best friend. And, in the process, discover her true identity.

Music Fueled by Fantasy
I have loved the Amity Affliction for awhile now. They make really beautiful emotional music and of course, it gets pretty heavy at times.
If you've been following along, I've been featuring a lot of heavy music with pop influences and this is certainly no exception. Great music with lyrics that will be stuck in your head for days!
This song just released from them and I heard it for the first time right before I loaded into this Newsletter! It's a slower song from them, but it's still quality!
The Amity Affliction - Not Without My Ghosts Ft. Phem
Here are a couple of my favorite Amity Affliction songs! They are full of energy, passion and pure beauty!
The Amity Affliction - Drag The Lake
The Amity Affliction - Like Love
The Amity Affliction - Soak Me In Bleach

This Week's Food Fantasy
Arya Stark's Oysters, Clams & Cockles
If you watched Game of Thrones, you should recognize this pretty quickly. While Arya is training to become no-one, she has to do some recon on a local booky so, she poses as a cart girl to get close to him. Most of what people remember from that scene is Arya walking around shouting "OYSTERS, CLAMS AND COCKLES."
Try some of these on your next date night and see how they do!
