Ramses Tariq-Omari has walked the world of man for millennia, a lion shifter, a healer and a soldier, he protects those who know nothing of the paranormal world, of the creatures that seek to harm them. Having served the Goddess Sekhmet since the age of ten, it has been lonely existence indeed, but one he has never regretted having chosen.
Since the loss of her fiancé and child to a Wendigo attack, Elizabeth DeAnglo has trained as a paranormal hunter, driven to hunt down the creature responsible. Only then is she certain that she will find peace. Despite living and working with the Hellfire Pack, despite having a family in her fellow paranormal hunters, she is alone, always on the periphery. When she is attacked, again, by unknown Hellhounds, Elizabeth wonders why she is being targeted. She also wonders at the identity of the mystery archer who comes to her aid.
A millennia-old paranormal warrior and a modern day paranormal hunter. Two sides in opposition, yet fighting the same enemy. The attack will change Elizabeth’s life and force her to face some harsh truths. Can she straddle the worlds of the paranormal and those who hunt them? What will happen if she is forced to choose? Can love overcome the deep-seated prejudice which Ramses will face from Elizabeth's friends?

Blightmage
Free With Kindle Unlimited
Embrace the (B)light...
It has been fifty years since the sun died over Ashathar.
Blaike was born in the blight. As one of the "touched" he is devoid of power.
He is forbidden from following the Lightweaver Path.
The "touched" still serve the brightlands, working the mines to extract sunstone; to deliver it to the Lightweavers, the saviors, preservers, and rulers of Ashathar.
The largest sunstone ever extracted from the mines has been found. It could empower the brightlands for months. When it is discovered that someone stole the sunstone's power, Blaike is exiled from the brightlands. Was he really to blame? Can he survive the blight? Or, is there a larger threat than the Lightweavers ever realized that could destroy Ashathar once and for all?
Ming Yue is the daughter of a brewer. The Ming clan's elixirs have supported those on the Lightweaver path for a half-century.
Yue's twin brother was taken by the blighted when they were children. But when she's denied access to the Lightweaver path, since she is not the first-born child of her clan, Yue's father tasks her to create an elixir that might save her brother from the blight.
He's the only chance the Ming clan has to remain prominent amongst the brightborn, to produce a Lightweaver who might protect Ashathar for years to come.
But there is no guarantee that Yue's brother has survived among the blighted. Would he remember her at all? Is the mysterious figure, found in the blight, truly her brother--or is he someone else, someone who might challenge the dominance of the Lightweavers and the security of Ashathar?
Blightmage is the first book in Kataklysm, an action packed epic progression fantasy series. Fans of progression/cultivation epic fantasies, unique magic systems, and immersive epics like Will Wight's Cradle series or Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive where the hero starts weak but gains power over time will also enjoy this expansive saga.
Monster Hunter
When you make your living on the open road fighting monsters, love is barely in the rearview mirror.
With family lore and urban legends as their guide, hunters track banshees through bogs, exorcise demons, and try to find the best dry cleaner to get pixie dust out of their favorite jacket.
Finding out you’re fated to fall in love with the monsters you’re meant to destroy is just adding insult to injury. Falling in love with your best friend who’s also a monster hunter is almost as bad, and that incident with the cursed object and the
succubus doesn’t even bear mentioning.
Follow these hunters in this action packed anthology filled with your favorite authors as they defend humanity from creatures that go bump in the night and find love along the way.

Music Fueled by Fantasy
Music is very much like a good story. Not only does it invoke strong emotions, but it tells a great story. This band I want to feature today does that for me! I only discovered Dayseeker in the last year and I am really glad I did. The couple songs I've heard from their newest album are really powerful and leave you feeling the emotion they put into the songs. Fronted by Rory Rodriguez, the California Post-Hardcore outfit make really beautiful music and their latest music takes it a step further. Rory lost his father recently and wrote this whole album for him. you can feel the heaviness in each song and each one has an ethereal beauty to it.
I really hope you enjoy as much as I do and maybe, it will inspire you like it does for me! Let me know what you think!

This Week's Food Fantasy
The Walking Dead was an incredible show! Maybe they dragged some stuff on too long, maybe it got a little repetitive, but in the beginning, it had some really impactful storytelling and some really memorable character. I haven't watched the last season yet so no spoilers! 😂
Another thing you might remember from the series is Carol's cookies!! Everyone seemed to love them, and they even looked good on screen. So, here's your chance to make them at home!!
Get the full recipe here!
