{{contact.first_name}}, have you done a mind tour?

If you happen to be born in a low-income environment of any state, this is for you.
Decide at some point to take your mind on a tour to where most of the high-income citizens reside.
I mean if you are in Lagos, take your mind on a tour to places like Lagos Island, Lekki, Ajah
If Abeokuta, try to visit places like Ibara, GRA amidst others.
If Abuja, try Asokoro, Maitama, Guzape amidst others.
I made an instance of these because they are States I have been in in Nigeria.
If the United States, visit New York or Washington D.C.
Should I tell you why?
It makes your mind see beyond where you were born.
It sets you more intentionally for something more than where you are.
It helps open your mind to possibilities than impossibilities.
Someone once shared a story of how a girl from one of the low-income places in Lagos decided not to go to school.
The man told the mother to send the girl to him.
What did he do?
He said nothing to her, told her to get into his car and drove her around Lekki.
The man asked her "Did you see all the people in the area?"
She answered "Yes".
He asked, "Did you see any of them with 2 heads? Did you see any walking with their heads?".
She got the answer and changed her mind.
Possibly, after seeing the works of creation and the things peers like her did.
The attitude of not justifying your situations and being prejudice against the wealthy will make a difference in your life.
When you can think correctly, you will live correctly.
I remember a time in my life, I would leave the house and just go to the Island.
I will look around, get around Chevron Bus-stop, visit a friend who worked around there and return home.
The changes in my mind were not visible but it was happening.
Some days after, I had a client who gave me a task to do and her workplace was there.
My God!
I got into the organization, displayed the application and was given a ride.
Guess what prayer was in my mind?
Attract things first with your mind. As far as your eyes can see, your hand can get.
Develop the right attitude towards excellence.
Then, it will call for you.
Sometimes, attend life-changing events happening in places outside your locality.
Stretch your motivation bank to something higher than what you are used to.
Sit down and see how executives sit, talk and connect.
Every investment on your mind is worth more than any spent on your looks.
A well-packaged body covering a wrong mind will end up unprofitable.
Where you are born is not your fault but where you end is your fault.
There is a likely chance that a successful person will want to sponsor you for a life-transforming event than give you money for data and a new dress.
Why?
You will come again to ask them for those things but will become a better person by attending those events.
If you attend any of the government high institutions in Nigeria, try to go to any of the best private schools to visit.
Don't go to make yourself angry and shout against the government.
Just go to inspire yourself and make quality friends at any of their major events.
The first time I had to step into Covenant University, it was a competition of Nigeria Computer Society.
The second time was when I think I started becoming inspired.
I think I have had to be there like four times if not more.
It gives me so much drive for a higher level of excellence.
No matter how accomplished you assume at your level of excellence, you will always need something to inspire you for the next level.
Smile at the current applause you get but go to the places that humble you to always get back to work.
I don't know how neither do I know when but eventually, we will be wise.
