During the Roman Empire, when a person commits a murder crime, the soldiers usually do something.

They would take the corpse that was murdered and tie it around the murderer.

The murderer would have to live with this for as long as he can until he dies because the smell of the carcass would suffocate him.

This was how the offenders of murder cases were judged without being executed.

I am thinking about this and considering how this may be you too.

You have done some things you wished never occurred or mistakes you are finding hard to let go of because your mind has been clouded by them.

You keep reflecting on that past and cry over them like the corpse tied around that murderer.

The mistakes still smell on you and make your heart heavy every time you reflect on them.

, you are the soldier monitoring that baggage of mistakes you've made.

If you can cut it off and let your mind find peace and wisdom, you would have gone farther than you ever imagined.

Maybe you wished to take up a different career from what you are doing now.

Maybe it is the thought of getting married too early or too late.

Maybe it is the person you thought was going to be your life partner who walked away unexpectedly.

Maybe it is the money you should have used to buy some assets that were swindled away from you.

Maybe they are opportunities you knew should have changed your life if only you knew better.

Maybe the loved one in your life died without enjoying the investments he or she made in your life.

They are not easy to let go but you just have to drop them so as to take the aircraft of your destiny.

Cry if you have to but don't miss the lessons you should learn from those situations.

There is more to you, that is waiting to be seen.
