Hello peeps,
Hope this email finds you well. Sorry for being MIA! I was on my honeymoon, traveling and taking a real break. I decided to disconnect as much as possible, and it was absolutely worth it. Now I’m back, fully rested and ready for more.

🦑 Squid Game
My wife and I binged this over the weekend. I get why some people might not enjoy it, but I really liked it. The season flowed well, although a few lines of dialogue and character choices felt off at times. Still, this isn't the kind of show where you're supposed to get clean arcs or tidy endings.
I respect the creative decisions they made, and the whole experience kept me on edge in the best way. In a world without plot armor, the unexpected becomes the norm. And while some viewers struggle with that, it's exactly what made Squid Game work for me. A solid 8 out of 10.
A solid 8 out of 10.
🎬 Materialists
The cast was stacked, and they all delivered. I’ve been a fan of Pedro Pascal ever since Game of Thrones. His character started strong but faded into the background as the movie went on. Honestly, the film followed the same path. It had a great hook and opening, then settled into a typical rom-com ending.
That’s always been my personal issue with Romance as a genre. It’s often predictable. And I get it, people love that comfort. But I want twists and turns that keep me guessing.
With that in mind, I’ll give it a 5 out of 10.
🐶 Snoopy Stare
He’s getting really good at melting my heart every time I catch him doing something mischievous.
That’s all for now. Wishing you a magical week full of great reads and good vibes.
Stay weird and keep those pages turning,
A.B. Cohen
