Fresh Starts, New Covers, and Interstellar Thoughts 🚀

Hello Peeps,

I hope this email finds you well as we all prepare for the holiday break. I, for one, can’t wait. With the passing of my father and the messy processes that followed, I’m eager to bring this year to a close and start fresh in the new year.

Navigating the mourning process has been incredibly difficult. Losing a parent is always hard, but when the relationship was strained, it adds a layer of complexity to the grief. How do you miss someone who caused so much harm? I’ve spent the last six months trying to answer that question with no clear resolution. I’m hoping the holiday break will offer some time to rest, decompress and, maybe, some clarity.

🎨 Cover Revamp

After much deliberation, we’ve decided to revamp the covers of the Leah Ackerman Series! There’s a growing trend in the market for simpler designs that lean on abstract symbolism rather than featuring a main character front and center.

This is where you come in! We’d love your input as we brainstorm ideas for the new covers. Got thoughts or inspiration? Just hit reply and share them with us. Your feedback means the world to us.

🚀 Interstellar

I recently rewatched Interstellar in IMAX, and let me tell you—it’s a masterpiece. Few movies keep me on the edge of my seat like this one does.

The visuals and sci-fi elements are stunning, but what resonates with me most is its exploration of human nature—our instincts for survival, family, and love. It’s a profound reflection of who we are as a species.

If you haven’t seen it yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! And if you have, I highly recommend experiencing it again in IMAX. Just maybe bring earplugs—those sound effects can get intense!

🐾 Snoopy's New Haircut!

What do you think? Longer hair or shorter hair?

Stay weird and keep those pages turning.

Warmly,
