Hello everyone,
I hope this email finds you cozy with a good book in hand this fall season.
It’s been wonderfully gloomy here in San Francisco—perfect weather for reading! There’s nothing like curling up with a coffee or hot chocolate and a great story while listening to the rain outside.
On my nightstand, I have Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. While I’m enjoying it so far, it does feel a bit slow for my taste—though that’s to be expected with epic fantasy. That said, if you have any recommendations for a good horror, thriller, or mystery book, I’d love to hear them!
✏️ Reviews for Dark Pawn
Many of you have read Dark Pawn, the first book in the Leah Ackerman Series, and for that, thank you!
If you have a few minutes to spare, we’d greatly appreciate an honest review on the platform where you purchased it. Reviews are one of the most meaningful ways you can support us, and they help bring new readers to the series. With book 5 on the horizon, your feedback means more than ever. You can find Dark Pawn here.

🐶 Snoopy Photo
It’s been two weeks since Snoopy joined our family, and one thing is certain: he LOVES belly rubs! Here’s a little photo of our newest (and cutest) team member.
Stay weird, keep those pages turning, and as always, thank you for your support.
Warmly,
A.B. Cohen & JP Rindfleisch IX
