Hello Peps!
We just received the new covers for the series, and we can’t wait to show you how they’re turning out! We still need to do some test prints to ensure they translate well to paper, but I’m PUMPED!
Also, the beta version of Dire Queen is now with the editors and beta readers. We’re less than two months away from release, so stay tuned for updates!
📖 First Promo of the Year: Prequels
Once I start reading a book, it’s hard for me to stop—even if it’s bad. That’s why for our first promo of the year, we joined one promoting prequels. Prequels are a great way to sample a world and decide if you want to fully commit to a multi-book series.
You know the drill, there are two separate links for the promo::
🌊 Moana 2
After thoroughly enjoying the first one, Moana 2 had some big shoes to fill. While I still think the first movie is better, the second was definitely enjoyable.
The Plus: The expansion of the fantastical elements in the universe made the setting richer and more immersive.
The Minus: The songs didn’t quite measure up to the first movie. This speaks more to how iconic the original soundtrack was than any failure of the sequel, but it was noticeable.
Overall, I’d give it a solid 7.5/10, with exciting prospects for future films!
📊 Statistics
My lovely friend Anat said she loves the new format, but suggested I describe our growth in percentages instead of raw numbers, so here it is: our email list grew 275% in 2024!
This incredible milestone is all thanks to your support, and I can’t wait to see how much we’ll grow together in 2025.
What do you think? Do you like the new email list format?
🐾 Judgmental Snoopy
Here’s Snoopy, giving me his best judging face as I stared at my phone and forgot to press the down button for the elevator. My bad, bud.
Stay weird and keep those pages turning.
Warmly,
A.B. Cohen
