Hello peeps!
Hope you're having a fantastic week. Today I've got some exciting news from my first Barnes & Noble signing, a promo full of dark and twisted reads, a couple of indie book recommendations, and of course, a Snoopy photo.
📚 We Sold Out at Barnes & Noble!
Last Sunday was my very first Barnes & Noble signing, and I still can't quite believe it...
We sold out of Dark Pawn!
Thank you so much to everyone who came by, said hello, grabbed a book, picked up a bookmark, or simply stopped to chat. Meeting readers in person is one of the coolest parts of being an author, and seeing so many people excited about Leah's story meant the world to me.
If you'd like to see some photos from the event, you can check out my Instagram post here!
Special shoutout to my amazing wife, Raquel, who was an absolute rockstar last week and helped make all of this happen. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes before an event like this, and she was there every step of the way.
Love you, babe ❤️
🌞 Not So Sunny Reads
Summer is usually associated with vacations, beaches, and sunshine...
This promo goes in the opposite direction.
These stories explore what happens when the heat starts bringing darker things to the surface. Buried secrets. Obsessions. Unraveling relationships. Slow-burning dread. Twisted mysteries. Psychological tension. The kind of stories where things get worse as the temperature rises.
There are fantasy, sci-fi, horror, thrillers, crime, romance, and plenty of books that refuse to fit neatly into one category.

📖 Reader Finds
As always, full transparency: I haven't read these yet. These are blind shoutouts to help fellow indie authors get more eyes on their stories.
🔥 The Devil's Daughter
A woman who inherits the Devil's magic must hunt a supernatural killer while fighting the temptation to become the very monster she fears most.
Check it out here.
🐱 Demon Slayer, Magical Disaster, Cat Companion
A struggling young demon slayer finally finds her magical battle partner... only to discover it's a cat. Naturally, chaos follows.
Check it out here.
🐶 The Wind vs Snoopy: Round 2
That's all for today! If you checked out any of the promo books or came to the signing, I'd love to hear from you.
Stay weird and keep those pages turning,
A.B. Cohen
