Hello peeps!
Hope this email finds you well. I’ve been trying my best to get some writing done! The deadline is creeping closer, and my characters have decided to go off-script again 😂. Still, I’m confident we’ll finish strong, and I can’t wait for you all to read the final book in the Leah Ackerman Series, Divine King.
This week, I’ve got a short reflection, JP’s brand-new website, a movie review, and Snoopy’s Halloween costume at the end!
💬 Amazon Realities
Being an indie author can feel like climbing a mountain while the path keeps shifting. Between an oversaturated market shifting algorithms and disappearing reviews, Amazon isn’t always kind to small creators. Sometimes it feels like shouting into the void.
But here’s the thing: that won’t stop us. Every challenge reminds me why I started writing: to tell stories that connect with readers like you. I know the Leah Ackerman world has touched people, and that’s what keeps me going.
So, let’s fight back together. Let’s remind Amazon that real readers still care about real stories written by real people.
If you’ve read any of the books, you can leave your honest review here. Each one truly helps keep this series alive.
🌐 JP’s New Website
My amazing co-author just launched his revamped website, and it looks fantastic! The colors, the layout, and yes, there’s even a section where you can grab some swag. Check it out 9thBooks.com and show him some love.
🎬 Movie – Weapons
Wow. It’s been a while since a movie pulled me in like this one. Weapons had me on edge from start to finish. The cinematography, storytelling, and acting (especially from Julia Garner) are all top-notch. Be warned though, it’s terrifying. I may have screamed once or twice, but those eerie, slow-burn moments? Perfection.
An easy 9.5/10 from me.
🍟 Snoopy’s Halloween Costume – French Fries!
That’s all for today! If you’ve seen Weapons or have your own spooky movie recs, send them my way. And as always, thank you for being here and letting me share a little piece of my world with you.
Stay weird and keep those pages turning,
A.B. Cohen
