🎨 Help us choose a new cover direction

Takes 10 seconds. Your input really helps.

Hello peeps!

Hope you’re doing well. Today I need your help with something important, plus a quick horror show review and a very awkward Snoopy photo.

📊 I Need Your Opinion (Quick Survey)

We’re exploring a potential cover direction change for the Leah Ackerman series, and I would really love your input.

This is not final and nothing has been decided yet. What you’ll see in the survey is conceptual art, not a finished cover. Think of it as an idea we’re testing.

What we’re trying to understand is this:

Object-focused cover vs person-focused cover for Dark Urban Fantasy.

Which one feels more compelling? Which one would make you click? Which one fits the story better?

Your feedback genuinely helps shape these decisions, so if you have ten seconds, I’d really appreciate it.

Take the survey here.

🎬 Series — IT: Welcome to Derry

I just finished IT: Welcome to Derry, and overall… this was a really solid horror show.

It has all the gore and intensity you’d expect from a Stephen King adaptation. The atmosphere is strong, the tension builds really well, and the jump scares are actually effective because they don’t overuse them.

Also, the kids absolutely crushed it. Great performances all around.

That said… they made a choice toward the end that really didn’t land for me.

The story takes a weird turn, and some of the character decisions felt forced and honestly a bit dumb. The kind of decisions that clearly put them at risk just to move the plot forward.

It’s frustrating because the buildup was so good, and it kind of undercuts everything they set up.

So while I still think it’s a very entertaining and well-made show, that ending pulled me out of the experience a bit.

Maybe it won’t bother you as much as it did me, but for me it dropped the score.

Overall: 7/10

Still very worth watching.

That’s all for today. Thank you as always for being here and for helping me shape this world.

Stay weird and keep those pages turning,

P.S. Don’t forget to take the survey. I’d really appreciate your thoughts. It takes less than a minute and helps us make a better decision for the series. You can take it here.
