Hello peeps!
Hope you are having a fantastic week. I have a few fun updates for you today. A big milestone for the Leah Ackerman series, a thriller recommendation I absolutely loved, and a small creative experiment I’ve been playing with.
📚 Leah Ackerman Box Set Launch
This Friday, March 20th, we are officially releasing the Leah Ackerman Kindle Box Set!
To celebrate this huge milestone, we are also running a special promotion. Dark Pawn will be $0.99 for five days, starting on launch day this Friday.
If you have friends who have been curious about the series, this is the perfect time to tell them to jump in.
You can check it out here.
The box set includes all six books in the series plus the three short stories set in the same universe:
• Cursed Jade
• Astral Layers
• Lucky Witch
Everything is organized in chronological order, so readers can experience the full story exactly as it unfolds in the world of Leah Ackerman. It feels surreal seeing the entire saga together like this after six years of writing.
🎬 Movie Recommendation: The Housemaid
We watched The Housemaid recently and wow, I absolutely loved it. My wife had already seen it with her friends and insisted we watch it together, and I’m glad she did.
The Housemaid is a psychological thriller about a woman who takes a job working for a wealthy family, only to discover that the house and the people inside it are hiding far darker secrets than she imagined. The story slowly builds tension until the twists start hitting one after another.
It’s one of those movies where the suspense just keeps tightening until everything snaps into place. Sydney Sweeny and Amanda Seyfried killed it with the acting.
A very solid 9/10.
If you like thrillers with great pacing and unexpected turns, I highly recommend it.
✨ A Small Side Project
During the past few weeks, I also worked on a small side project just for fun. It’s an animated short experiment I put together to explore some storytelling ideas in a different medium.
I’m genuinely curious what you all think about it. You can watch it here.
This was more of a creative playground than anything else. I wanted to see what would happen if I experimented with animation and visual storytelling outside of writing.
Let me know your honest thoughts. I’d love to hear them.
💨The Wind vs snoopy - Who will win?
Thank you as always for being here and supporting this journey.
Stay weird and keep those pages turning,
