It's been too long!

Hi there, remember me?

Apology and Update:

I want to apologise for not being in touch for a while. I’ve been busy working on lots of writing projects, which I’m really excited to finally be able to share with you.

I’m thrilled to say that I now have a fabulous agent who is currently submitting three new stories for me; a sweet, feel-good contemporary romance, and two clean, light-hearted romantasies!

The feedback from top publishers has been amazing and really encouraging on all three books, but I have yet to secure a contract offer, or offers. YET! Fingers crossed someone will pick them up soon. 😊

I have to admit I’ve been a little impatient while waiting to hear back… okay, I got very impatient! Traditional publishing is soooo slow, lol!

So, in the meantime, I decided to dive into a brand new series set in the picturesque seaside town of Cosy Cove, which I intend to self-publish under my new pen name, Abbey Hicks.

Set on the south coast of England and inspired by a few of the towns and beaches near to where I live, Cosy Cove is a place where the ocean’s waves carry whispers of love and every corner of the town holds a story waiting to be told. From the welcoming café along the promenade to the charming artisan candle shop and the quaint flower shop on the cobbled main street, I hope you’ll fall in love with the town and its residents just as much as I have.

I know some of you prefer my spicier books, like the Love Bites, A Dating Agency for Paranormals series, but I am moving away from that and prefer to write sweet-no-heat stories now.

If you’re interested in continuing to receive emails by me writing as Abbey Hicks, would you mind filling out the form below please? It's just so I don't send you bookish things that you're not interested in.

Are you still reading? Great! As a way to introduce you to Cosy Cove and its quirky, lovable residents, I’ve written a short story called “Cupcakes and Kisses in Cosy Cove” which you can read for FREE!

Hope to speak to you soon,

Bye for now,

Abbey MacMunn (now writing as Abbey Hicks)
