It’s time for another Tuesday Tools Roundup, where I share Tools and Apps that I’ve personally used or tested, so you don’t have to!

I share only a couple of tools para hindi ka masiraan ng ulo. 

According to the latest available data as of July 2023, there are 57,933 artificial intelligence companies. And almost 57,000 of them are redundant or hindi need ng freelancers. I'm looking at the number pa lang nasusuka na ako.

So no, I won’t share just about any tool that seems trendy. I’ll only share tools THAT ARE ACTUALLY USEFUL for Pinoy Freelancers. 

Marami talagang basura apps out there that don’t really work, are poor clones of the real thing, and/or are just cashing in on the gold rush of AI.

So ako na mag-reresearch kasi hobby ko talaga mag-discover the apps.

I’ll share only the stable ones that won’t likely go out of business agad and only those that I deem are useful for pinoy freelancers like us.

Today I’ll share productivity apps

Obsidian - a handy app where you can write, save, and connect your notes. It’s like having your own web of ideas. I repeat, yung notes mo can now be linked together and help you organize your thoughts better as you review them.

You can also create placeholder notes if you're writing something para hindi mawala yung train of thought mo with too many ideas flying around in your head.

It’s great for anyone who needs to keep track of lots of information, like freelancers.

Remember Evernote when it was Free? it's like this, but only 10x better.

Imagine an app where you can contextualize and externalize your experiences along with the rush of information that threatens to drown you that you take in every day.

Why is this important? When we're able to link our thinking through our notes, we improve our ability to recall memories, and we can do our best work. ^)^

We want to have the confidence that we can find what we're looking for when we want to find stuff. Marami kasi satin puro save and store lang ng notes and links. Then after that, when we need them for something na, waley na.

I actually use Obsidian to help me write and I can appear smarter than I really am lol and I'm able to link ideas much more clearly.

Rize - another handy background app that helps you manage your time better. Para syang FitBit watch that records everything then lets you know what you're doing well, and what needs improvement.

It’s like a personal coach that reminds you to take breaks, helps you focus on your work, and keeps track of your progress. It’s easy to use and can make your day a lot more productive!

Full disclosure, I'm on the Pro Plan, which allows me to track and monitor my data indefinitely, but meron silang free version but it doesn't retain your data that long. (you can still use it to track your habits though).

It costs the same amount as zoom at 15usd if you're on monthly billing, pero nagiging 10usd a month na lang kung annual mo sya binili. Using my link gives you 25% off sa first three months.

Suggestion ko is you try it for a month at least para makakuha ka ng data sa daily activities mo that really happen.
