You may have already seen the update on social media that in order to keep What The Pitta going we need to downsize the business.

Manchesters last day open was yesterday and Camden will be closing Sunday 8th September.

There is some good news... Brighton & Brick Lane will be remaining open and we will continue to push on with festivals and events. (Camden customers, our Brick Lane shop should cover you for Deliveries 🤞).

I'm not going to go into all the reasons why small independent businesses are struggling particularly in hospitality as you've probably seen from the many others who have closed, it's tough out there.

Business like life has its ebbs and flows. Things change and you have to adapt.

I know we have something special with What The Pitta from all the messages we received when this news was shared and from our staff who have lost their jobs and what it meant to them to work for a vegan only brand.

This is why it's important we keep the business alive and that's where you come in...

Continue to visit you local vegan / independent businesses, we know prices have gone up but it's not happening out of greed it's to keep the businesses viable and nobody wants a high street full of big name brands only!

Continue to tell us where we're slacking, what we could be doing better or if your meal didn't hit the mark because that's the only way we can make sure we're doing the best we can.

Your support is what has allowed us to get this far. Statistics say 20% of new businesses fail during the first two years, 45% during the first five years, and 65% during the first 10 years. It's year 8 for us and we ARE going celebrate What The Pitta's decade in business!
