We know it has been a while since we last sent out an email. We have been pretty busy redesigning the Things to Do in Sanur website. If you have time, have a look and let us know what you think.

We all love a good local Sanur warung—they usually have great local food at really good prices. This brings me to Warung Samping, which is located straight across from the Icon Mall.

The reason I am mentioning Warung Samping is that we first ate there in 2020 and recently went back a few months ago. During that time, the prices have hardly risen at all, and the quality of the food is still amazing.

Some of the prices are:

• Nasi Goreng Chicken – 28,000 IDR
• Nasi Goreng Seafood – 30,000 IDR
• Cap Cay Chicken – 35,000 IDR
• Cap Cay Seafood – 40,000 IDR
• Beef Rendang – 65,000 IDR
• Kare Ayam – 40,000 IDR

I love trying Beef Rendang wherever I go in Sanur, and I rate the one at Samping very highly. If you’re looking for a good warung in Sanur, you could certainly do worse than Warung Samping.
