Greetings everyone.

For those in Sanur, wow the weather has been hot this month, well actually when isn't it hot!

We left our hotel without even staying a night!

For the first time ever we left a hotel in Sanur without even spending a night there. Lets start by being honest we were looking for somewhere cheap for two nights before we left for Melbourne.

We had a late flight so in reality we were only going to spend one night sleeping there and then the next day until checking out and heading for the airport. The hotel in question was the The Urban Haven Hotel located nearly opposite Icon Mall.

The room smelt, the sheets and pillow cases had stains on them and the carpet was dirty. We stayed only long enough to find another place to move too. It had 7.4 rating on Booking.com which is generally good enough.

Christmas in Bali

With Christmas just around the corner i have started seeing a few places in Bali advertising Christmas lunch and so forth. If your planning on being in Bali for the christmas season here are a few places doing Christmas lunch

Walk in Breakfast in Sanur

Last month we headed to the Holiday Inn for a walk in breakfast. No reservation needed just head to the lobby and ask to have breakfast at the hotel. What we found was good breakfast with both indoor and outdoor seating available.

There was quite a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, bread, pastries and the usual sausages, eggs and bacon that you find at most places. Holiday Inn also had an Indian food station at breakfast with Nan Bread, rice and chicken dishes such as Korma and Butter Chicken.

We only paid 150,000IDR each which was an amazing price. Prices can sometimes change so you may be best to check with the hotel first.
