I read this quote a couple of years ago and it really hit me with a sense of urgency. My brother had just had a hideous cancer journey, I could see my 50th birthday hurtling towards me at 100 miles an hour. It really felt like if I didn't do something now then when?

As leaders, we often spend our days shaping everyone else's future.

I knew that the only way to make my future happen as I wanted it was for me to take the plunge and invest in myself and bring in the support to refind my purpose, and more importantly me.
