Hello
Long time, no write.
So what's been happening at Withington Towers?
Well, here's my latest blog post: Which Social Media is Best For Me?
If you ever wonder which social media platform is practical and useful rather than for reading gossip and what people ate for breakfast, that could be helpful.
Tech it Easy seems to be going places. The Fred Olsen cruise ship Borealis was the latest place I was asked to do some talks. A nice cruise around the fjords to enjoy at the same time.
If you're in Wigan, I'll be doing a Tech it Easy series in the Community Grocery at The Edge on the first four Thursday mornings of November at 10am.
Well, when I say "in the Community Grocery", I mean the purpose-made room just at the side. Everyone is welcome and it's completely free.
"Hang on a minute, David! What's Tech it Easy?", I hear you ask.
It's everyday techie stuff simplified. Perfect if you think technology has left you behind. Here's a 7-minute video explainer:
I try to make tech super-practical and easy.
So when someone asks, "What's frequency?", it's the perfect opportunity to make a 1-minute explainer video.
And that's what I did. Click to watch it.
Funny
We bought the box set of our favourite TV programme, and we watched it back-to-back.
Unfortunately, I wasn't the one facing the screen.
Heart Warming
With all the terrible news at the moment, it's hard to find good news.
But the BBC has a section of Uplifting Stories.
Well worth a read, especially the story of "Shaun the Sheep auction raises £195k for hospice".
Heartwarming!
Anyway, that's all for now.
Until next time :)
David
