Hot Shot Running Back release delay
Jun 21, 2021 7:36 pm
đź’žDear romance reader friends, I apologize.
In spite of my best intentions, I need to postpone the release of Hot Shot Running Back. I had a minor procedure a few weeks ago and I truly thought I'd be over it quickly. But driving to visit my mother and other overly ambitious activity delayed my recovery. In plain English, I messed up and overdid it and now I need to pull back and rest.
Unfortunately, this means a delay in the completion and release of Hot Shot Running Back (a Big Men on Campus novella spin-off) until next month.
In the future, I promise I'll be smarter about my schedule and what I can do and when. This is the first time this has happened to me in ten years of publishing books, and I'll do everything I can to make sure it's the last.
I hope you'll stay with me, not hold this against me and now think I'm an unreliable slug (that's what I feel like at the moment!)
With my sincerest apologies,

NEW Release Date July 25th: Hot Shot Running Back - a Friends to Lovers Football Romance
George & Izzy's story
George
I thought I was hot shit on campus--until I met Jack Hunter. And now we're all moving on after this weekend, our last hurrah...
Jack was a demi-god, a black hole sucking up every girl on campus in his orbit until they may as well have been invisible.
Or until I may as well have been invisible.
In spite of that, he's my best friend and I spent four years making do with his leftovers, consoling girl after girl once he's rejected them. It was a tough job, but I didn't mind it. Rich sarcasm here.
I didn't mind until it came to Izzy. She's my Achilles heel, the one girl I never let out of my sights no matter if she sees me or not, but she got sucked into Jack's orbit too and he doesn't let go of her easily.
Worse, she doesn't want to let go of him. She clung to his ghost even as I consoled her. even when Now I'm relegated to no more than a friend.
I want to be okay with that. I don't want to hate my best friend. I don't want to disrespect Izzy.
But I abso-fucking-lutely do not want to be nothing more than a friend to her.
I need Izzy to choose me. And this weekend is my last chance.
But how can I ever be sure I'm nothing more than leftovers?
Hot Shot Running Back is a spin-off story in the Big Men on Campus series world and can be read as a stand-alone. George & Izzy's story is a steamy college/new adult football romance where the hot friend finally wins the girl in a sizzling happy ever after ending. (Contains sex and language for a mature audience.)

Notorious Man on Campus Cover Reveal!
Growing up, I had 3 step-mothers before dad figured out he was best suited to bachelorhood. Despite promises, once they left I never saw any of them again.
To say I don't trust women is impossible. I would never use the word trust and women in the same sentence.
On a good day, I might eat a meal cooked by a woman without waiting for someone else to take the first bite like the canary in a coal mine.
And in the universe of un-trustworthy women, the girl who broke my brother's heart, the one who caused him to drop out of college to work at the family business in Pittsburgh, Pennsyl-f*cking-vania, holds a specially vile place in the black hole that would be my heart.
And f*ck if she isn't the girl I'm looking at right now in the kitchen at BMOC House where I live, where I rule. Nyla Rhoades stands at the sink, washing pots and pans more temptingly forbidding than ever.
Some unholy deity could not have dialed up a more heinous torture, a more poisonous hell of a punishment than to force me to spend my senior year living under the same roof as that girl.
But Majik hired her and there's no going against Majik's decree that she needs Nyla help to cook and clean at BMOC House.
Welcome to my senior year. Turning from the best time of my life as star QB on campus, on my way to the NFL with my choice of any girl I want, to a living purgatory where I'm reminded daily of the one most absolutely f*cked up mistake I made in my life.
All because of her...
