A trip to Boston later-- Six of us girls from NH went into the big city to celebrate the Pisces birthdays--three of us! ➜➜➜

We learned a few lesser known history facts about the Revolutionary War from our special Freedom tour guide which featured stops at several Boston pubs!

What was truly hilarious is that half the tour group was from England--so it was awkward when the guide said "Revolutionary war hiistory was written by the WINNERS of the war--and that was the Americans."

eek. Luckily the blokes from England were good sports--and had consumed a large quantity of beer--so they didn't mind the guide rubbing it in. Or maybe didn't notice...

Meanwhile, I'm still working on cleaning up the guest room for my son's return from Vegas. He'll be staying with us for a short while and I intend to enjoy every second. ❤️

What's going on at your house?

“What the fuck do you care anyway?” I say, realizing we’ve strayed way too far from casual conversation, well into dangerous, unrecognizable territory.

“Good question.” This time he shrugs, maybe he’s mocking me. “No answer.” He pauses, trapping me in his deep dark sensual stare. “But I do care. And I’m not going to pretend otherwise. Not with you.”

Boom. The curtain falls ,exposing him more dramatically and heart-stoppingly than if he’d dropped the towel that day in the locker room. He’s exposed his feelings wholly and bravely.

“That’s too bad,” I say and lick my lips. He nods. Then he takes a step closer.

“For which one of us?”

My head screams at me to back away, to slap him, to fling an icy barb in his face, but I have nothing. Not one damned thing comes to my mind because I feel like I’m drowning in the deep dark intense look in his eyes that’s too real to insult with anything but the truth.

“Both of us.”

I touch him first. He’s so close, my hand goes to his chest all on its own. But I don’t push him away. I caress the sure, strong and fast thudding of his heart.

He closes in, pulling me into his arms as he lowers his face to mine. I breathe him in, his minty breath, his musky maleness. But he doesn’t kiss me, he only presses his forehead against mine, smooths his hand down my back and presses his fingers into my ass, moving our bodies together until his cock is squeezed against the v between my thighs, our hips clenched tight. I should push him away, but my arms go around his neck instead and then his lips find mine.

The sweet hot feel of those sensual lips against mine stun me and my mouth opens to him. Everything in me opens like a blooming flower as I taste him and he runs his tongue across mine, everywhere, exploring and intimate and holding nothing back. My heart slams my chest and I hear nothing but the blood roaring and pulsing and my breathing, his breathing growing harsher and faster. He bites into the flesh of my bottom lip, a gentle nibble, a branding, and then he lets my mouth go.

“We’re so fucked,” he says, the heat in his words could be passion or concern or both. I gather myself and push back from him in spite of the needy throbbing of my pussy. His hands drop away from me and my body regrets the move instantly.

“We?” I say, rejecting the reality he’s painted because it can’t be. “You mean you, separately, because we’re not sharing … anything. We can’t.”

“Except Finance 101.” He licks his lips as if he’s still tasting me and my pussy cries for me to take him and drag him home. “And your fucking ex-fiancée’s wedding weekend. Because I want—no I need—the chance to figuratively gut punch the sucker into a lower tax-bracket where it’ll hurt him most. I want to make his future father-in-law wish I was the one marrying his daughter.”

I groan, because he could probably do it. And cue the painful squeeze in my chest. But I haven’t lost my mind, so I regroup and call on my lazy survival instincts to man up.

“Do you have a bed?” My brain is haywire. I didn’t mean to speak, didn’t know I could. Nerves of raw passion have disconnected my brain from my body. Panic sets in.

Until he laughs, a deep quiet laugh with his dimple deep and calming in a panty-melting way. He lifts me to a stand with him and I face him like a magnet against his body. That’s when I realize he may have a hard time walking from here to the bedroom wherever it is, because he has a dick the size of a baseball bat in his pants.

Waiting for me.

I moan and take his face in my hands, pressing my mouth to his, letting my greed for his lips and tongue have their way. He groans—no make that growls and that sends a zap like an electric current to my pussy as I press into his solid as petrified wood cock.

“Sweetheart, you’re killing me. Let’s—”

I release him like the electricity between us has turned into a stun gun. “I’m sorry, I lost my head. I mean—”

He covers my mouth with his hand and it shouldn’t be such a sensual experience, but I taste his salty flesh as I lick his finger and breathe in the manly spicy sent of him. When I realize his hand is shaking, I want to faint with the heady power, knowing I make him shake with need.

Wrapping an arm around me he leads me down a hallway to the end and we walk through a double-door to his bedroom. There certainly is a bed. It’s gigantic. I stop and stare at it, the bed clothes messy, a thick charcoal comforter trailing onto the floor and I don’t know how many pillows heaped in the middle.

“It’s so big.”

He laughs and tugs me onto the bed, pulling me on top of him as he lands on his back.

“You haven’t even seen it yet.”

I laugh. “No, but I felt it.” The heat of a giddy blush rises to my cheeks at my bold flirting. He squeezes my bottom to emphasize my point and my breath catches. My face is close to his. The look in his eyes, those gorgeous eyes, makes my heart race like it’s running for its life.

“Do I need to bring you home? Will your parents be worried?”

He waits for my answer, staring at me with official bedroom eyes, while I bite my lip wondering if I can get away with lying that I’m at Billie Mae’s.

He shakes his head and says, “Those are words I never thought I’d be saying again. I haven’t had to ask about worried parents in a lot of years.”

“I know. It’s ridiculous," I say, "I should have my own place. But I don’t need to go home. No need to worry about my parents.” I lie my ass off because mom will be livid. It’ll worth whatever grief I get because I’m an adult and I need to act like one.

“Won’t they worry about you?”

“No. I spend the night at Billie Mae’s all the time.” It’s a partial truth. When I go over her place, I usually bring a bag and let them know I’m staying out. Crap. “But I’ll send mom a text to make sure.”

“Good girl,” he says like he’s an old man and I bite my lip again. Maybe he is too old for me. But the flood of sensations from the night protest against the idea that he’s too old. And if he is too old then too bad because I want what he has, everything, all of it, even the more mature parts.

What about him, though? Maybe he’ll regret being with a girl too young for him?

What the heck am I thinking? He’s only eleven years older than me. That’s nothing. Dad is older than mom, isn’t he? And they’re perfectly happy. Sort of.

I get up and get to go find my bag for my phone and he latches onto my dress.

“Hey, where are you going?”

“My phone—”

“Use my phone.” He reaches into his pocket which is a feat because his pants have become impossibly tight, and pulls out is phone.

“How’d you fit that in there with your giant…”

“Cock?”

I nod.

“We have to work on your dirty talk, sweetheart.” He grins like it won’t be a hardship and hands me the phone. “I assume you know your mother’s number, right?”

I nod, suddenly becoming mute as my eyes dance between his dimple and the straining fabric of his pants attempting to hold back his cock. That’s what’s waiting for me. All I need to do is send this text.

Without thinking I quickly tap a note to mom that I’m staying with Billie Mae and I’ll be home in the morning. When I hand the phone back to him, he tosses it onto the floor into a pile of clothes.

DIRTY DEVIL - MELISSA IVERS

image

Pretending to be a hot hockey player’s girlfriend shouldn’t be a problem.

Except when that player is my brother’s teammate, Foster Craig, with the body of a god and a British accent that melts the panties straight off my lady bits. Did I mention that I might have a teeny crush on him?

But after a picture of an accidental kiss goes viral, he makes an offer I’d be hard pressed to refuse. A few dates in exchange for a lot of money. It seems harmless enough. And besides, I have a dead car, a baby to take care of, and a romance novel to write.

I just have to remember--No. More. Hockey. Players. Especially one who scores more off the ice than on.

Even if he comes to my rescue after my car breaks down. Or attempts to make me a cake for my birthday. Or dances with my two month old son when he thinks I’m not watching. I'm trying to resist him, but when he offers to help me test out "positions" for the novel I'm writing, things get a little… complicated. (And I’m not just talking about the Reverse Wheel Barrow with a Corkscrew Twist.)

And I find myself breaking my rules one by one.

If I take my heart out of the penalty box, am I going to end up being checked by yet another player?
