At SQ's House

It's been hot hot hot! While H is recuperating from his broken fingers, I pitched in to help mow the lawn. It was only a twice in a lifetime experience. One I'm sure the lawn will never forget.

Luckily my son jumped in and took the mower out of my hands!

For fun, I got together with a couple of long time friends at Lake Winnipesaukee where one of them has a home.➜➜➜➜

It rained the second day but that didn't dampen our fun one drop!

There may have been a shopping excursion in the quaint town of Wolfeboro, a lakeside dinner, an old-timey band playing show tunes in a Gazebo, fine chocolates, Fritos and Lite Beer involved.

But mostly it was about enjoying the connection and bond of unbreakable friendships that have lasted decades through all manner of ups and downs--one of the great advantages and joys of being... a certain age.
