It's time to take stock of what I'm grateful for, as many of us do around this time, and I'm finding it incredibly easy to find so much on my list.

My family and friends are at the top and I'm so lucky to have an abundance of them. Like a lot of us do, enjoying the people around us is everything in life.

What else? I'm particularly grateful for my writing, and at this moment, my work-in-progress makes me very happy.

No matter how stuck I get sometimes, or how discouraged by a difficult plot point or a terrible paragraph, I am so grateful to have writing, to be able to create stories and have that to look forward to every day.

Well, the rain dance from last week worked! It's been rainy for the last three days in a row here. Yay!

In honor of thanksgiving, I'm even grateful for all the lousy rainy weather.

Last night I went to a Friendsgiving dinner and had a blast--not because of the food. We danced!

Also, we shared some sentimental moments as you might imagine.

And I just remembered that I forgot to take home my little chocolate turkey!
