Beachcomber Investigations is a romantic thriller series, from my romantic suspense period, set on the beach island retreat of Martha's Vineyard.

If you don't count the complaints about the steamy scenes (which I don't because, duh), it has great reviews.

At SQ's House

I'm lucky I have a longish nose since it was clamped to the proverbial grindstone, aka my computer, pretty much 12/7 this week. ➜➜➜➜➜

This is what I call deadline-mode.

I drink coffee every day--even though I'm not supposed to because it affects my sleep. My concession was to drink decaf, mostly.

The gym or any meaningful activity is out the window.

Break time means snack time and that includes all my worst habits piled up in one unhealthy heap--Cheez-Itz, chocolate covered almonds, pasta, crispy tater tots, heavily buttered toast and ice cream. To name a few.

The worst part? I have another week to go.

The rainbow? If I survive, my book will release at the end of the month!

Then I reform.

But that's a whole other mode for another day.
