Excerpt #1 from TRICKY PUCK!
💜💜💜💜💜💜
Hello !
I love it when the words flow and writing is a smooth ride. My w.i.p., Tricky Puck is going exactly like that! The MMC, Link Milano, has been around for two books now, teammate to Chase in The One Timer and Sabien in Two Pucks. They all play for the Portsmouth Whalers and can't seem to stay out of trouble--woman trouble that is.
Now Link is bursting onto the scene as the star of his own story with Jason as his best bud. I love this story about matchmaking and a big strapping hockey player with a soft spot for his grandma!
You can let me know what you think when you read the snippet.❤️

March Madness is on! If you’re not familiar, it’s that time of year when the NCAA basketball tournament for men and women takes place.
The tournament starts with 64 teams creating a BRACKET.
Here’s an EXAMPLE➜➜➜➜ You may have heard this term since it’s so hard to avoid.
The brackets are filled in for betting purposes. I’m rooting for UConn to win it all. (Big surprise, right?)
So far, so good. UConn's men and women both won the first round. The men play tonight to make it to the Sweet Sixteen. Then onto the Elite Eight and finally the Final Four.
It’s exciting to watch all those college kids and their ridiculous energy and joy—but I’m a sucker for "new adults" who are on the brink of starting their lives where everything is possible—including winning the NCAA Basketball championship.
Go UConn!. 🏀 ❤️
What college would you root for?

The One Timer - a hockey rom-com
Chase
“You feel so fucking good.” I can hear the strain of holding back in my voice, and I take a deep breath.
“You okay?”
“I’ve never been more okay. How about you?”
“I’m so much better than okay. You’re killing me in the best way possible, teasing me, taking it easy, and going so slow—”
“You want fast?”
“I want you. Whatever you have, whatever you want to give me.”
It turns out her words are more lethal than the heat of her pussy, crashing through my self-control, and I push all the way inside her to the very end.
She cries out and holds on as I glide back out, shaky and holding onto her, my hands under her ass, keeping us connected.
“Don’t stop, Chase. Whatever you do, don’t stop.” Her words tremble, and I hear them, their meaning registering deep down in the raw depths of my soul, bypassing everywhere else.
My body responds the way it was meant to do, the way that has kept us going forever, seeking pleasure with a beautiful, relentless, single-minded purpose.
Except I’m aware this is Emery and who she is. All the meaning I’ve given her since we met is wrapped up in my arms and around my cock, fueling me to...

EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT #1 - from TRICKY PUCK
a fake relationship hockey rom-com

Standing, no small feat for granny these days, she reaches out and hugs me. My arms wrap around her frail shoulders and my chest clenches. I want to give her whatever her heart desires, but—married?
“Granny, you know I want to do this for you. I’ll definitely settle down and get married one of these days—”
“You’re always so full of jokes. That’s good. Girls love a sense of humor,” she says. “How about Christmas?”
“What?”
“A Christmas wedding would be perfect,” Mom says, grinning and I shoot her a glare. Dad grunts at me. He knows better than to interfere with granny. He owes the woman far too much to argue. And then there’s the fact that he’d also like to see me settled down.
He doesn’t appreciate my desire to remain a bachelor since his only ambition in life was to have a big family. And to give my mother whatever she wants.
Shit.
“Granny, that’s a little fast. I don’t even have a girlfriend—”
“You leave that to me.” She smiles and pats my hand again like she’s reassuring me. Meanwhile my heart starts beating too fast. Not a good sign.
“What do you mean?”
“I know a matchmaker. She already has someone lined up. You’re a great catch, Link my bambino, did you know that?”
I cough to hide my panic. “I may have gotten that impression.” From all the women who throw themselves at me after every single hockey game, all the beautiful, sexy women who shower their considerable attention on me—the kind of attention I’ve grown fond of and want more of.
Not that I’m a man-whore, but variety is the spice of life, right? Didn’t someone say that somewhere? Well, whoever said it was right. I love my spicy life and now that I’m established on a team with a multi-year big buck contract, I was looking forward to being the ultimate chick magnet.
My sisters surround me in congratulations as if my engagement to the unknown woman the matchmaker lined up is a done deal and the date is set for Christmas. That’s only three fucking months away.
“Wait a second—Granny, I know this means a lot to you and I have every intention of making good on my promise—but Christmas? You want me married by Christmas? That’s so fast—”
“He’s right Ma, it takes at least six months to plan a big wedding.”
I glare at my mother again. She’s enjoying this. In fact, I wouldn’t put it past her if she didn’t encourage granny to make this outrageous request.
And shit—I set myself up. I wanted to give her anything and everything she desires for her birthday because she’s fucking 90 years old.
I know deep down—though the dark understanding seeps up and takes hold of me now—that granny may not be around much longer.
Fuck that. She has at least another ten years. That’s what I firmly believe.
So I smile when she says, "Okay, you don't need to be married by Christmas."
I'm silently thanking the heavens when she adds, "It would give me something to live for if you were engaged by Christmas."
Blood drains from my head as I feel like I'm losing control.
"I'll enjoy the time planning your wedding," she adds
Mom says, "A June wedding would be perfect. What do you think, Ma?"
"Okay. I'll try to hang on... " Her words punch me in the gut and my chest tightens.
“Don’t say that.” I put an arm around her. “You’re fine. You’ll outlive us all, Granny.” I lean in and whisper. “Promise me.”
She squeezes my arm and nods in response and the anaconda squeezing my chest loosens it’s grip. But only by a fraction.
Because I now realize I’m going to be engaged by Christmas.
