This week flew by for me--how about you?
I admit the fly-by of time was at least partly due to participating in some fun non-writing activities, like a hike with hubby (see below), attending a fashion show--though it was to support our local library, so maybe that counts as writing related--dinner with friends, yoga and the gym.
Hmmm... does this sound like living life or... procrastination?
Writers do need to have the benefit of life experiences to draw on for their stories, right?
Big sigh. Okay, at this stage of my writing deadline, I will admitting to a tiny bit a whole bunch some procrastination.
Truth: I wouldn't be me if there was no procrastination involved. Apparently I work best under pressure.
However, writing to you today is a warm and fuzzy reminder that writing progress on Lucky Puck is important because I want to create a highly pleasurable, exciting and toe-curling reading experience for you with this book!
Time to channel my energy into crushing the word count!!

At SQ's House
But we encountered a small hiccup in the form of a rock and this happened ➜➜➜
Luckily my poor H tripped on the way down and made it to the end. He ended up with two broken fingers, and as you can see, an impressive trail-burn!
Don't worry, this minor incident isn't going to stop us from going back--next time H will remember to bring his glasses! 💜
