THE DIRTY MERMEN
Hey there, Steeleheads! It’s my pleasure to introduce you to one of the new craterball teams that will appear in my upcoming release, Slab Steele and the Outer Rim Job. Pretty flaring cool, eh?
The Ariel Mermen Craterball Team was founded in the early 2300s when bath tissue magnate TP Whipegood found herself with a boatload of spare credits after selling her toiletry empire to Proto-Paper, Incorporated. Using her newfound stash of thingamabobs and whatzits, Whipegood bought a large chunk of Ariel, a small moon orbiting Uranus, where she used the complex terrain to her advantage by building a network of vac suit skiing resorts. After several years of booming business and expansion, Whipegood did the only sensible thing left for a woman of her means: she ripped off the design of an existing craterdome and built one of her own. She called it The Domed City of Atlantica, christened her new team the Mermen, and after a miscommunication in the graphic design department, debuted the wonderful logo you see above.
Often a middling team when it comes to final standings in the Solar Craterball League, the Mermen did have a few years of prominence when the big wing affectionately known as The Trident served as their spearhead. Unfortunately, like many players in the fastest and hardest hitting game in the Solar System, his career ended before his prime.

I just want to thank everyone that’s stuck with me while I work my way through this strange author journey. This whole writing-a-book thing started as a challenge to myself way back in August of 2019. And since then, it's turned into my primary hobby--one that's actually stuck around. I have a bad habit of collecting hobbies, just ask my wife...
Like all of us people, I know my work has flaws. No one and no thing is perfect. But here I am, on the verge of releasing another novel sixteen months after this adventure began. It’s taken a lot of time, effort, and late nights, but frankly, it’s been a wonderfully enriching way to spend my meager free time.
