Who wants to meet Lincoln Scott?

Hi, I'm Lasairiona and I'm a recovering pantser.
So many people ask me about my writing process that I thought I'd share it with you today. I'd love to say I have a super strict and productive writing process, but my friends would call BS and I couldn't hit the 'send' button if I told a lie like that!
For those of you who don't know, the author world is generally divided into plotters (those who plan their books/series) and pantsers (those who fly by the seat of their pants) - there's a sliding scale, some do a hybrid thing, where they plot the over arching bits and pants the rest, some are hardcore one way or the other...
I used to be a pantser - 100% When I wrote Intimate Strangers, I had no intention of it becoming a series, let alone a series of series... so when I started, I had no plan. But by the time I'd written AJ's series, I realized there was a LOT going on that needed to be kept track of - especially when my readers asked for Jeremy's story. So I started plotting.
It's painful and I don't like to talk about it, but it makes my books better and that's all anyone really cares about. Just don't tell my friend Clare that I'm admitting she might, maybe, possibly, kinda, sorta be close to right - she gloats.
I plot, I write, I send to a blind beta who tells me bits that don't make sense, I re-write, I send to a couple more betas, I fix it up again and I send it to my frienditor who tears it apart for me to put it back together, and then I ship it out to my ARCS.
Who has questions? Is there something you've always wanted to know about being an indie author? If so, pop your question in an email and send it back to me, I'm only too happy to answer!
Okay, okay, I've made you wait for long enough... y'all wanted to meet Linc after meeting Cleo last time, so here you go...
Don't forget to shelve Two for Interference on your TBR pile... hoping to get the cover soon and it'll be pre-order time before you know it!
Until next time,
Have you joined my reader group yet? If not, then head over to: Margaritas, Men and Mischief with Lasairiona. As the name suggests, it's a place for my readers to chat about all things romance - with a healthy dose of sarcasm, sharp wit, conversations comprised entirely of GIFs, sneak peeks, giveaways and a plethora of memes. It's one of my absolute favorite places on the internet and I'm really enjoying getting to know readers that bit better over there. Don't be shy - we don't bite... much! Come on over!
