Who wants a shiny new series?

How are you?
TL;DR version of this newsletter is: New shit is on the horizon. Vibrators and hockey players. Not at the same time. At least not yet.
Let me explain...
Sometimes life is weird. Exactly a month ago, my post-apoc publisher slid into my DMs asking if I wanted to ghostwrite a romance novel for him to trial on the new Amazon serial platform: Kindle Vella. I told him no (I have no reason to ghostwrite when I'm trying to grow my romance brand), but I'd be interested in a co-write. As soon as he sent the message, my synapses fired like cray cray.
A new world was born. The Minnesota Snow Pirates.
I started working on ideas for my one-book couple that quickly spiralled into a six book series (it's never just one book!!) Within the next two weeks, I had a mind map drawn out for the world, characters had names, personalities, and college majors (it's another NA series). The hockey players had shirt numbers and love interests, and I was all-the-way in on this series. Turns out, Vella doesn't *do* co-writes. So I was left holding an outline for book 1, and plans for more books. I was buzzing. I decided this plan had all come to me a little too easy to just let it languish in a document somewhere, so I sat down and started writing this series all by my big-girl self.
So meet Cleo. She's a curvy, bookworm, Latina. She hates sports, jocks, and thinks Colin Firth is the only Mr. Darcy (she's also not wrong there!)
