Howdy, y'all! How goes it?

October has been a shit-storm for me from the get-go, and I'm ready for it to get the hell gone. My kid has been off school for an entire week with a bad chest infection, after being off for a couple days the week before, and he has a mid-term-break coming up in less than a fortnight.

Full time mom-ster of a sick kid, and full time author is freakin' hard. I'm pretty sure he's shared his cooties with me, too, so that's fun.

UGH.

I'm not going to grumble and complain the whole way through this newsletter - though I really probably could. It hasn't been my favorite month this year by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm trying to find the silver lining in my days.

Yesterday it was a 99p special on my favorite donut at Tim Hortons, and today it was crossing the 60k word line of my current WIP, February's release Freezing the Puck. I can't wait for y'all to meet Justin and Savannah. New series, new team, new drama, and I am living for it!
