Howdy y'all!

Happy February! So February is my fave month (yup, it's my birthday month, ALL the coolest kids were born in the month no one can really say properly.) I'm not doing much this year, but my bestie Heather promised me a chocolate cake and since I haven't seen her in weeks because my little one caught the dreaded plague and was isolating, she could pretty much offer me a dirt pie and I'd be excited to see her.

To celebrate (okay, not really, it just so happens to coincide with my birthday but I'm claiming it as in honor of me!) I'm participating in a hockey romance hop on Facebook this weekend.

How it works: Each author has a favorite player. You will need to hop into their Facebook group to find it, collect them all, and fill out the google form to be entered for the grand prize. I'll link to the next author in my post I'll put up on Feb. 12. I'll have some fun games and a give a way in here starting on Feb.12, but will leave everything open until Feb.14. I hope you join us for some fun and meet some new to you authors. You can start in my group, here.

A new month also means a new free hockey romance book for our Bookaneers bookclub. If you're new here, twelve hockey romance authors have banded together to give away a book a month. And a group of my readers have decided to do a monthly readalong in a bookclub. Feel free to join in.

Heads up: I LOVE this book, AND this series. I binged a book a day until I was done. SO good.

Blurb: Secretly hooking up with the team captain's sister was a bad idea. In my defense, the first time I saw her I didn't know who she was.

Kind, gorgeous, a little naïve. Ginny brightened my world from day one.

I knew I was no good for her. She was just out of a relationship and I had a reputation for having a new girl in my bed every weekend. I tried to do the right thing. Honest.

I'm the one who insisted we should be just friends. That lasted about as long as you'd expect.

But Ginny? She's the best—best friend, best everything. So yeah, hooking up with the team captain's sister wasn't a great idea.

Would I do it again?

In a heartbeat.

Lastly, don't forget to pre-order Austin and Mackenzie's book (book 4). It releases in April and if you're all very nice to me I'll share chapter 1 as a teaser in my next newsletter. But only if you're nice. Obvs.

If you want to pre-order it for your Kindle, click here.

Other than that I'm frantically typing at my desk - like that Jim Carrey GIF with his fingers pounding the keys - and trying to get this book written and ready for my editing deadline. It's already shaping up to be longer than expected, so pray for me, y'all!

Until next time,

Have you joined my reader group yet? If not, then head over to: Margaritas, Men and Mischief with Lasairiona. As the name suggests, it's a place for my readers to chat about all things romance - with a healthy dose of sarcasm, sharp wit, conversations comprised entirely of GIFs, sneak peeks, giveaways and a plethora of memes. It's one of my absolute favorite places on the internet and I'm really enjoying getting to know readers that bit better over there. Don't be shy - we don't bite... much! Come on over!

Four Letter Feelings

Jeremy Lewis has just returned from a year in Europe, ready to start college in Alabama and pursue his dream career in the National Hockey League. Other than boring school work, he’s eager to play hockey, hang out with his new teammates and maybe even rekindle an old flame when Chelsea Davis unexpectedly reappears in his life.

Life is looking pretty darn peachy.
