How you doin'?

Howdy, y'all,
It's been six weeks of Corona-quarantine here in Northern Ireland, with no real end-date in sight - obviously this means that we're having the best weather Ireland has ever seen. It hasn't rained for six whole weeks! LOL! I'm exaggerating (just a little mind you) but it sure does feel that way. Every time I get in the car for my weekly essentials trip I contemplate driving up the coast to visit the Causeway because I miss driving and I miss our coast. It's weird the things I'm missing. I still can't wait to see my friends and inflict hugs on all of them!
Anyway, I hope this newsletter finds you and yours, safe and well, we are all living in scary and uncertain times and it's okay to not have your shit together. Crisis-schooling is hard. Living in closed quarters with people underfoot is hard. Trying to keep many, many balls in the air - also hard. As long as your family is happy, healthy and fed - you do what you gotta do. I know my son, for one, is having a little more screen time than I'd like, but some days it's all I can do to get through.
What have you been doing at home to entertain either the littles, or yourself?
Lewis and I made milk bottle elephants last week out of squares of tissue paper and mod podge - we both loved crafting together and it kept us busy for ages.
I'm also baking ALL THE THINGS. Anyone have any must-try recipes for me?
For those paperback fans among you, you might have noticed that my Lisa Millar Series has slightly increased in price on Amazon. My (UK) direct sales will remain £10 per copy (plus p&p) and can be bought directly from me if you'd prefer.
If anyone hasn't yet joined my reader group, Margaritas, Men and Mischief over on Facebook, please consider doing so. It's a lovely wee group of avid readers of my series and we are helping each other through the Coronapocalypse one meme and playlist at a time!
Lastly, check out this week's group promos y'all - there's literally hundreds of books for you to sink your quarantined and bored out of your brain teeth into. Just click the banners to take you to the list of books - there's some great ones in there this week!
Stay safe, y'all
