Howdy, readers!

July has been a wild sourdough ride. Did you know I jumped on board the sourdough train? Well, I have. I spent weeks researching, reading, and watching other people make beautiful, golden brown boules, before I gave it a whirl.

And then I fell flat on my fucking face.

Sourdough is hard, man. Sourdough is hard.

When I got back from Greece at the end of June, I took my sourdough starter (Crust Hemsworth) out of the fridge and fed him. He reacted, he ate his food, grew the way he was supposed to in the time he was supposed to, and he finally started behaving himself.

My wee mind was blown. And that week (the first week in July) I was finally able to make a semi-decent sourdough boule. Now, if you ask real sourdough people they'd have told you it wasn't semi-anything, but Col and I demolished the first loaf, and the next day, I pulled this beauty out of the oven.

I *know* there's still a ways to go - that 'ear'/split needs to be like two to three times as wide, but let me tell you, seeing this loaf puff up like this has made my whole day and given me hope that I can do better.

TLDR: Crust Hemsworth will live to see another day!!!

Anyways, while I know we have a section in every single newsletter to tell you guys about what preorders I have coming up, I wanted to make a dedicated newsletter to let you know exactly what's coming, and (roughly) when it's coming.

First up, Unmasking the Enforcer - a little short story based in the Raccoons world featuring Mason McGuffin (you'll have seen his name in previous books in the series) and Lilith Radcliffe. It's getting published in an exclusive hockey romance anthology between twelve authors. Each author got assigned a trope and a costume for the halloween party, and we're all writing short stories that fit into our worlds. It's super exciting, and if you haven't preordered that, please consider it, it's for a great cause, and it will not be in Kindle Unlimited.

Next, we have Patrick Mahoney and Sorcha McCarthy in my new not-a-secret-anymore Irish mafia romance, Stolen Rival. It's releasing September 4th, and is utterly delicious.

Then we have The Rival Bet, book two in the New Orleans Phantom's Series and my second co-write with Melissa Ivers. If you were curious about Harrison and Megan sniping at each other in My Brother's Teammates, then you're going to want to preorder this book.

Last but by no means least, I have book 1 in my upcoming, brand new, women's rugby romance series, The Fly Half and the Fling. It's slated for a February release to coincide with the start of the Six Nations... if I can get it through edits and out the other side in one piece, that is!
