Last week of October and it's getting cold. I hate it. My dad gets sadder and sadder the colder it gets since our plans of traveling home this year had to be canceled (Home = Nigeria). Speaking of Nigeria, special thanks to everyone that has been reporting of voicing support of the #EndSARS and the over 1.4 million posts on IG along :-) (as of the writing of this post) and counting. That's great.

HOWEVER, the Nigerian government is corrupt, not just SARS, and unfortunately even if SARS is completely eradicated and nothing similar ever replaces it .. Nigeria, as a whole, would still have a corruption issue where those at the top are just sucking the country dry.

I know I know, many of you will say but my government is corrupt also, especially my American friends. To that my rebuttal to that is yes but you have sewer systems, 24/7 electricity, significantly better access to health care, anyone can get an education, you have safety (to an extent yes), access to the internet, no food shortages, access to business ventures that don't require government contracts or favor from a politician, I mean the list is long. It just hard to compare and it so very annoying because I can see what Nigeria and its people could become if things were run differently. This is nothing new for most of us.

BUT what makes me smile ... what warms my heart ... is the level of unity. Nigerians all over the globe & Their allies are joining forces and it excites me like nothing else. Who knows what's possible or what the future brings. So that for me is the silver lining. My hope is that this is not just a trend and that the support continues.

For Business: I had the privilege of welcoming a new husband and wife investor client to the team. They will be working with me personally to help them build their rental portfolio. The goal, very modest, is $8k/m. Just from speaking with these two, I plan on doubling their goal ... I haven't told them that yet so keep it a secret. I pray that the universe continues to bless and strengthen their unity. I'll take care of the real estate :-)

Oh and we sold a home in 24 hours and went over asking price by 5k. My client was happy and wishes she had another home to put on the market. I told her I wanted the same thing for her lol.
