Happy (late)Monday !!!
Brand New Month Out Here! What's up November, how are you doing! Hoping this message finds you happy and in good spirits.
How was your weekend? I want to know, drop me a dm.
As much as I love November, especially the first week of November, I do hate how November gets cold. All thoughts of the summer are long gone. All outfits that meshed well with warm weather can now be put away. Which sucks. Crazy to think that there are only 2 months left in 2020. I mean what a year. A lot can happen in a year. It has been especially trying and tough for me personally. However, I am getting better. Hurting & Healing.
Police tackle a man they were chasing at 52nd and Locust Streets early Tuesday during protests after officers shot and killed Walter Wallace Jr. in West Philadelphia.
Speaking of hurting ... I want to thank all of my clients that reached to check if I was ok. They did this after hearing of the police killing of Walter Wallace Jr. in West Philly. West Philly = My stomping grounds. My slice of Philly. My home away from Home. The days after the shooting have been heavy. The atmosphere in West has changed for the worst. Entire blocks of stores are boarded up and closed at times they should be opened, think ... 2 pm on a Thursday. I hate to keep writing about sad stuff but this hit so close to home, so uncomfortably close that if it had happened 20 minutes sooner, I would have been able to see it with my own two eyes. My heart goes out to Catherine Wallace (mother) & Dominique Wallace (the pregnant wife of the late Walter Wallace Jr).
Walter Wallace Jr
The officers that came to the scene failed us. Several things upset me. I acknowledge that the police have a very hard job but I also think they could have shot Walker in the arm if he was holding a knife to disarm him. I also want to acknowledge that tense situations can lead to cloudy judgement ... HOWEVER I'm not buying any of that. This was a murder. 15 shots? Come on. One in the leg as a warning would have been all that was needed. For more details, check out the links below. Warning: some of these videos and links are tough to watch.

I want to take this time out and truly truly truly thank everyone I do business with. This year has taken so much from me and the only thing that has not let me down has been my real estate business. It keeps growing and pushing me to grow so that I can better serve the people that have shown me the most loyalty. You guys are beyond awesome I can't thank you enough. If you can love me through covid, quarantine, spotted lantern flies, police brutality, and everything else 2020 has then I'm yours forever!
