Lunch with a view in Puerto Nuevo, Baja California, MX. 🌊 We caught a break in the rain in SoCal/Baja, so I took a picture of the clouds lifting just enough to let the ocean shimmer. And yes, though not pictured, the famous lobster dish with arroz y frijoles made its appearance. Some traditions are non-negotiable.

OPTIMISM: đź’–

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer.”

— Harriet Tubman

COOL FIND: 🕵🏽‍♂️

I regularly listen to What Now? with Trevor Noah, and this week’s episode felt especially timely for Black History Month. Trevor and co-host Eugene sit down with comedian and Daily Show correspondent Dulcé Sloan for a candid convo about fame, loneliness, dating, and the emotional math between independence and intimacy. As someone navigating career growth and visibility, parts of her story really resonated with me. A funny, sharp reminder to support Black creators—not just this month, but always. 👉 Give it a listen here

HOMEWORK: 📝

Pause and revisit those New Year’s resolutions. What still fits? What doesn’t? Give yourself permission to pivot, adjust, or write brand-new goals that reflect who you are right now—not who you were in December and January. Growth isn’t rigid; it evolves. ✨
