I fiiiinally got to a chance to try my favorite TJ tacos in San Diego! I took a picture of just a tiny portion of the hugemongus new Tacos El Franc in my hometown of National City. Taste-wise, the food is as close as it can get to being south of the border. Are you planning to check em out, ?

San Diego FC is bringing cultura to the cancha with Hispanic Heritage Night on Saturday, Sept. 13 at Snapdragon Stadium. Expect música, danza, and puro corazón as the team honors the many cultures that make up our comunidad. 👉🏽 Grab your tickets now—and if you’re feeling extra pocho or Mexa, come back Sept. 16 for their showdown vs. Xolos and snag a limited-edition scarf celebrating Mexican Independence Day.

Back in 2019, when Facebook was nudging us to raise money for nonprofits on our birthdays, I decided to flip the script. Instead of asking for donations, I asked folks to invest in themselves—twenty bucks and twenty minutes for some good ice cream shared with someone you love. That wish still stands. So this weekend, in celebration of my cumpleaños, I’m inviting you to treat yourself (and maybe a homie) to something cold, creamy, and joy-filled.
