I try not to show off my dogs too much here, but c'mon! Look at her.

I took a picture of #ChloéTheFox our 14-year-old pom at the vet. She's fine, just needed a quick checkup and health certificate to continue traveling. Chloé and Lupita fly all the time and if you ever need help understanding the basic and ever-changing regulations for travel to, from, and within Mexico or the U.S. don't hesitate to ask, I'm happy to help.

🔥 Mexico Steps Up to Fight Fires in L.A. 🔥

The Mexican government, led by President Claudia Shein, is sending a firefighting team from CONAFOR and SEDENA to help combat the wildfires blazing in Los Angeles. After talks with President Biden’s administration and Governor Newsom, they’re just waiting on paperwork before heading north. It’s a powerful reminder that when things heat up, both countries have each other’s back—especially since so many of us have familia on both sides of the border. Stay safe and keep those firefighters in your thoughts!

Our neighbors at the LA Food Bank are feeling the heat—literally—due to the ongoing wildfires, and the San Diego Food Bank is stepping up. Over the next few weeks, they’ll be sending truckloads of essentials like bottled water, shelf-stable snacks, and ready-to-eat meals to LA. You can help by donating funds, dropping off supplies at their Sorrento Valley location (9477 Waples St.), or giving directly to the LA Food Bank. Let’s come together to feed and support our fellow Californios during this crisis!
