Hello ,
This weekend, I had the honour of speaking to a group of young girls about the importance of creating vision boards and setting goals.
While I guided them through the process and saw their excitement for the dreams they wish to chase, I couldn’t help thinking about how easy it is for some of us to lose sight of our own visions and dreams as we grow from children into adults or even with the ones we set as adults.
Keep Your Eyes on Your Goals! - That’s my message to you this week and this year.
Many of us may have started 2025 with the best intentions—setting goals and crafting vision boards filled with dreams of what we want to achieve. Yet, as the months roll on, it’s all too common to forget those dreams, to set them aside, or even worse, to let them fade away due to fear of failure or feelings of inadequacy.
I want to remind you that it’s completely normal to feel this way especially when life has a way of presenting challenges that can obscure our vision if we let it.
But…
Think back to the dreams you had when you were a child—the aspirations that filled your heart with hope and excitement. What happened to those dreams? Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to reduce our ambitions or let them go entirely. The truth is, it's never too late to revisit those goals and reimagine what we can achieve.
I urge you to also take a moment to check in with your 2025 vision board or your list of 2025 goals. Stand in front of them, reflect on what they mean to you, and reignite that fire.
Goals don’t have to be big; they can be as simple as taking a small step each day toward your greater vision. Remember, perseverance is not only about achieving your dreams but also about understanding that setbacks are part of the journey. Embrace those challenges as learning moments and keep moving forward.
So, as we go in this week, let’s remind ourselves that every day is an opportunity to take another step towards the life we desire. Your dreams are valid, and you deserve to see them come to fruition.
