How is life and family? Hope all is well? It is always wonderful reading feedback from different people that send in replies. 🤗
This week’s letter got me thinking. I’ve been writing these letters for over a year now and every week, on Sundays, I send out my thoughts and lessons I’m learning to encourage and inspire people.
I started these letters after my podcast, to encourage people to listen in. 🎙 However, it has now become a big part of my journey to inspire people and encourage more people to live their best lives everyday.
Over time, the podcast and newsletters have grown so much that I get feedback every week from different parts of the world.
It is a bit funny and ironic because despite saying this, a few weeks ago, I started questioning the value of what I was doing. I was wondering if there is any impact with these letters despite the feedback.
It is funny that because I share what I’m personally experiencing in these letters, people write back to me telling me it’s relatable.
As much as this happens and I have something to share every week, dipping into what I have to share made me realise that I hadn’t thought about the intent of my letters. I had thought it is so simple and that anyone can do this.
As I began to put my thoughts together, I thought about the fact some people actually look forward to hearing me every Sunday and how I always have something to share, I realised that I do have value.
So, I’m saying to you today that no matter how simple or small that idea seems, it has value. In fact if what you’re doing is only encouraging one person, then it means one person is getting happier as a result of you showing up.
This past week, I learnt that we all need each other. The world needs every single one of us to shine our light. Your light is not less valuable because someone else is shining their light.
There might be something you think is simple. It can be a gift, business idea or anything you think is too simple to be of great value. Never think that. Never underestimate your value or the light that you carry.
I’m signing out this week, encouraged by my own message. I’m signing out because I know I have value and I’m always excited to hear from you guys.
