Summer Updates. Full Chapter Sample For Dawning of Darkness Available!

Summer greetings ,
This has been one hectic summer for yours truly. Between visiting family, working on the audiobook, and my master's classes, I've had little time for much writing. But fret not, for the summer was not a complete waste regarding my books. I still have a few more chapters to go on the audiobook for Dawning of Darkness, but I've released both the Retail Sample and the full Prologue and First Chapter for your listening pleasure. You can either click the link, or visit the Front Page to listen to all my available audio samples.
I encourage you to take a listen, as I'm quite proud of the work of both the voice actors and of my own sound editing. The only thing that will probably change is the announcer's voice between the prologue and the first chapter, as I used my own for a placeholder. If you're itching for a bit more, then I've also released the completed Prologue for Afterworld: The Haunted Realm Beyond Our Stars. I had a lot of the actors that are in both Dawning of Darkness and Afterworld record their lines for both. So I'm hopeful there will be a cohesive cast across the books and that it will remain that way throughout most of the series.
This brings me to the bad news. With how busy I'll be throughout these next couple of years with school and work, I've had to delay The Desperado's Tale further. My plan has shifted to completing the audiobook for Dawning of Darkness this year, A Legend's Destiny (Working Title) reader magnet by early next year, along with the audiobook, and then if I'm lucky Afterworld's updated audiobook. With this in mind, and with the expected length of The Desperado's Tale, I would bet on it being delayed until at least 2026, but we will have to see.
