Learn: Saying Wow, Samuel L. Jackson, 40-year-old Entrepreneurs
Read: 3 mins
Greetings from Buenos Aires,
Ever notice certain actors have tics in all of their movies?
Keanu Reeves says “woah”, Denzel Washington says “my man”, Owen Wilson says “wow”, Samuel L. Jackson says “Motherf*cker”, and Leonardo Dicaprio raises his glass.
Well, that’s also exactly how they each respond after reading this weekly newsletter too.
Let’s get it on.
😯 Say Wow
Iguazu Falls is the largest waterfall system in the world. It has over 275 waterfalls split between Argentina and Brazil.
I went with some friends to check it out this week. Our most used word was simply, “wow.”
I don’t remember ever using that word so often.
At first, I hesitated to take 2 days off work to go “chasing waterfalls.” But I’m SO glad I did.
Now I want to consistently insert “wow” into my life.
Whether it’s working with impressive people (wow great job), having dope experiences (wow that was epic), or just imitating Owen Wilson.
We all should add more “wow” into our lives.
🕦 Samuel L.
Samuel L. Jackson didn’t get his first major role until he was 40 years old.
He was already 45 when he starred in Pulp Fiction.
Today he’s 74 years OLD...
Sorry Sam, 74 years young* I meant.
And still cruising.
Which had me thinking about other greats in their 40s…
