Hey Strawberry fans!
Our small-town shifters have started their whirlwind tour. A big shoutout to everyone who has joined us from Imaginarium in Louisville, Kentucky. I loved meeting local creatives and sharing about our creepy little town – half the time dressed as a Chuchunya… The pack’s tour continues with the Shepherdsville Farmers Market where I’ll autograph your favorite Strawberry Shifters or Walk the Walk Pirate Romance.
Our pack’s travels spiral out from Strawberry Ky to Shepherdsville, to La Grange for the Indie Author’s Book Fair on 8/5/2023 where I will have copies of Cuddling My Chuchunya and pre-release copies of Spooning My Chuchunya. Then the Chuchunya carry us through the mountains to the Sinful Signings 7 Deadly Sins Weekend in Roanoke, VA on 9/16-9/17/2023! My dushevnayasvyaz will be joining me because it is the 25-year anniversary of our first date. So, if you visit my table, be sure to ask Mr. Barr lots of complicated Strawberry questions…to get him to admit my books are too spicy for him to read, lol.

In October 2023, we head back east to the Books & Boo weekend, but we aren’t finished yet! If you read The Spy Who Loved My Russian Tea Cakes, you know I lost my mother-in-law to cancer in 2008. She is Theresa in the story and her Russian Tea Cake recipe is at the end. Now to book secrets! Y’all know small-town life means everyone knows everyone’s business and the leak at Rosie’s Pizzeria this month is a big one. On August 4th, in the Monsters, Demons, and Knotting Group, the Monster Brides Authors are having a Facebook party to make a big announcement. Of course, our Strawberry Rumor Mills already knows every month for the next 2 years a male monster/woman and female monster/man book will release. But did you know, October 2023’s release will be Betrothed to the Yeti, a dystopian, Enceladus colony Alien Romance by…me? Everyone thinks the Facebook party is to reveal the free teaser book but…news in Strawberry is the authors are revealing the 2023 covers, including this exclusive look at Betrothed to the Yeti…because nobody can keep a secret this big in a small town.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the release of Strawberry Shifters Book 4: Rotten Apple in June and who visits me at the upcoming events. I love connecting with you in person and on social media. The thrill of meeting so many monster and paranormal romance readers warms my heart. Did you know I was told not to write PNR because it was a dying genre in 2015? Phew, did we prove them wrong or what? Just for enduring this loooooong newsletter, I’ll reveal the new password to the members-only section of my website. It’s still Artyom’s pet name for Vera in Cuddling My Chuchunya but when the clan moved from Siberia to Canada…their language changed. It is Ryluk but—don’t forget the capital R.
