Hey Strawberry Fans!
This month we have two book birthdays. Strawberry Shifters Book 1: Bear with Me turned 2 years old on 6/4 and Book 3: Go Scorch Yourself released on 6/13. How cosmic is it that both books released on the Strawberry Full Moon?! Reviews for Go Scorch Yourself all agree that Betty and Lucien’s rollercoaster romance is sweet, funny, and hot, hot, hot. Have you been scorched? If not check out my post with the Paranormal Romantics for more on Strawberry Shifters Book 3: Go Scorch Yourself.
Thank you to everyone who voted in the RONE award semifinals with InD’Tale Magazine. The Paranormal Short category had the most nominees of any category at 14 books. Dance to a Wylder Beat made it to the next round in a group of 5 books. I’m so grateful to everyone who voted for our favorite bear shifter. The last round is head-to-head judging where a group of industry leaders read the 5 books and rank them. The winner will be announced October 8th, 2022. Fingers crossed for Olive & Nartan!
COVER REVEAL! Sound of a Wylder Silence (sequel to Dance to a Wylder Beat) has gone to scheduling! This is the last step before publication. Everyone fell in love with quiet Ikshu in Dance to a Wylder Beat, so I had to make his love interest extra special. I never thought my proposal to match him with Ava Wylder (the youngest of the town’s founders) would be accepted, but here is Ava & Ikshu in Sound of a Wylder Silence: (Are they adorable?)
BACK OF THE BOOK BLURB: Ikshu Sagebrush lives in the shadows of his mystical brother, loudmouth sister-in-law, and the trauma he endured. When a chance meeting with a Christmas angel makes him consider stepping into the light, Ikshu calls to the spirits of his ancestors to help restore his voice.
Ava Wylder is no angel, but her wicked ways are the catalyst Ikshu needs to face his inner demons and build a life. She would gladly trade her family’s wish for her to become a lady of a manor house in New York for the natural beauty of Wylder and a simple existence with Ikshu. When their families and community status step between them, she cannot fight for their love alone.
Will Ikshu find his voice to make his intentions known, or let true love slip through his fingers?
This month I have not one but two book recommendations. Check them out below.
Crimson Apocalypse by Misty Clark is the start of the Crystal Chronicles Demon Romance Book series. Jodie Hamlon's first book rocketed her to the top of the best seller list. One would think writing another would be easy, but she has hit a wall. Between her crazy mother Joyce, her ornery Great Dane named Boston, and the nervous breakdown she has yet to pencil in, the last thing she needs is demons! Crimson Apocalypse is free with Kindle Unlimited subscription.
Fated Binds by S.I. Hayes is a FREE dark romance book. At Grigori University there is a different kind of student body. The Deviant Class. They are the things that kept you awake in the night; the dreams that held you close. From the Vampires to Dragon-born, Purebloods and half, there is tension as they are pushed into the laps of human society. Keegan Teague is a vampire Lord, a prince amongst his kind and the integration is his project, all was going well until he is blindsided by a woman.
